I begged and pleaded my buddy Curt Maly to do a presentation on how he has been able to create a healthy 4 figure part time income on building his online business through Social Media Syndication. As an example for those that are new to this concept: Curt will take a small business owner and make them a rock star on social media. Just to give you an idea an average client paying $100 a month per client for this information so that they are on the leading edge of social media and video marketing is what Curt charges. He could easily charge more and fortunately he was snagged by me for an hour to share his wisdom. Curt, I thank you my friend and I look forward in working with you in future projects. Attraction marketing does work and this is a fine example of “Attraction Marketing Engineering.”

For years since I was a young kid, I remember biting my nails. It’s out of anxiety, nervousness, or whatever that dirty little habit came from. I finally broke the code to stop biting my nails. For 3 months now, I have not bitten off a single nail. I’m proud of breaking this habit.

It all started from listening to an audio from Tony Robbins where a client said, I will refuse to work with you if you cannot control your nail biting habit. It made me think of myself and my posture. How can anyone take me seriously if I don’t control that habit. Therefore, I made a decision to let me nails grow and I have not bitten one off since that decision was firmly set.

So if you’re in the same position I was in, and care to start having nice looking nails, this guide may help avoid further nail biting.

Step 1) Think of a change of mindset when feeling nervous. If you feel like you’re in a sticky crummy situation and you must go bite your nail, think of something that makes you happy. Change that mind quick because it will result in a grinding of nails .

Step 2) Start to listen to some positive audio like I have been doing. Take yourself out of the negative environments like people at work, friends, family, etc. It’s sad, but these scenarios can and will affect your living situation.

Step 3) Get accustom to change. It’s ok to be different to be normal. I know that sounds a bit strange but think of yourself as the outsider so that you can live a normal life inside. I know sometimes I change my way of being for the best to stay away from negative situations. I have to change or else my life won’t. This has a lot to do with self-control of nail biting.

If you have any other advice on sharing with others, I’d like to hear them on how to stop nail biting. For now, I have broken one of my worse habits ever .

As you can see, I had to come out and let the truth out. Too many folks hide and try to spend energy on Type A Personalities.

Let’s look at type A people in more detail.

Type A folks have major issues around three key areas: time, money and dirt.

Type A’s and Issues surrounding time.

Type A people have limitless problems with time. Type A’s need to be on time, they need to avoid running out of time, they need to have a watch or clock handy so they can measure time, they invest time, measure the value of time spent and time left available. These folks have issues with deadlines, as they are restricting, yet they feel they must have them and they must be met. Time is a tool for measuring and a means of limiting, confining and defining. As such, time is important to someone who has always had to meet standards and deadlines for acceptance.

Issues with money.

Type A people have esteem issues, as they don’t base their value on solid ground but rather on meeting standards. As such, rather than by their inherent value as people, they value themselves and what they do by money. What’s it worth, what did it cost, how much do they earn, have and spend? They spend or give money as a way of showing love or affection. It is their empowerment and security. In relationships there is a medium of exchange and of acceptance with others and it is money.

Issues with dirt.

As the type A individual is perfectionist and of low self esteem they don’t want to have any association with dirt. Getting dirty makes them feel cheap and worthless. They need neat surroundings.

Remission.

Something like remission or over compensation can occur in which the type A personality may swing to the extreme opposite to cope. They may give away money to show they can, get dirty or do dirty jobs to confront their fears and may throw caution about time to the wind to set themselves free. Still you can see that they still are tied heavily to these issues.

Emotions.

Type A personalities may deny emotion or not know they have any. They may feel guilty for having or showing emotions as this would take them away from the source of real value for them which is to meet standards like a perfectly performing machine.

2nd Topic cover Ponzi Schemes (Cash Gifting). Strangely enough, a mutual friend gave me a call to share his
excitement about what he found. Honestly, the call itself smelled fishy and it totally did not make sense. There was no information to be found on the company online and the simple fact that someone would send in $2000 to receive $14,000 back in 3 weeks deserves a careful attention of a Scam/Ponzi Scheme. I sure hope that hard working folks don’t get duped into these systems. Money exchanging hands without a valid product or service with residual tied to it isn’t a system. Get rich schemes are the reason this country is in the sh*ts right now. We’ve lost the true vision of momentum of the compounding penny. Would you rather take $1mil or the compounding penny? In a month the compounding penny becomes over $5mil. We just don’t think that way.

So what do you want to look for when investing your time away from work fulltime or parttime? Home based businesses are on the rise. There are a lot of legitimate ones and a lot of sketchy ones. You want to look for a business that the founder has a clean track record. 100% debt free a huge factor. NOT being publicly traded is a huge plus because the business is focused on making the executives happy, not their stock investors.

To Your Abundance,

I always believe that everyone in every part of the world deserves space for themselves and to be alone. When we are totally burnt out, we require to be free of all surroundings. The best suggestion I can give, whenever you’re in this stage, is to try an interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication is the act of talking with yourself; or in other words, self-talk. If you have tried talking to yourself, without using your mouth, just the brain, then you are actually doing an interpersonal communication. It would be great if you could do that with your eyes closed and of course in a very cozy place.

However, if you feel like shouting while talking to yourself, you may do so. Avoid doing it in public, or people may think you are out of your mind . All of us has had our share of insanity. Yet, keep in mind, all of us communicate with ourselves whether we’re aware of it or not.

When we talk to ourselves, we have to do it optimistically and not the other way around. If we let negative thoughts consume us while we talk to ourselves, then I bet you won’t feel good, and your self esteem will be totally torn into pieces. It’s easy to believe that you cannot stop negative words and thoughts. However, if you want to understand why you’re feeling bad, open your eyes to the negative conversation you’re having with yourself and you’ll find the answer you are looking for! Be aware of the people you are surrounding yourself with. The conversations that you are becoming apart of.

There are many ways to communicate with yourself. We can read books that enhance our personality, we can join yoga classes, we can talk to our mentor, or simply write down the list of our dreams, goals, visions and missions in life. Everything will be on track, if you let your mind, heart and body be in perfect and positive condition. Change your thoughts, change your words, and change the conversation you’re having with yourself. Don’t allow yourself to be downgraded, criticized, and judged by you. If you are doing this to yourself, imagine how you’re allowing others to treat you. You will absolutely unequivocally attract people the way you see yourself.

We need to compliment and love ourselves unconditionally. Yet by doing this, we need to have self control and balance so we won’t be conceited in anyway. There is nothing wrong with complimenting yourself, talking kindly to yourself, ignoring the negative thoughts, and humbly appreciating your uniqueness. There is nothing conceited about that at all; as a matter of fact, it’s very inspiring!

Allow me to encourage you to talk to yourself, be positive, let other people see your bright aura. Let them be blessed by your gracefulness about yourself . You you don’t know yourself, who will? Follow your passion.

In closing, acknowledge your failures and learn from them. Some of my best lessons were taught when I hit a fork in the road. You can either take them as character building elements, or you can duel on them. You do not want to duel on them. Those who focus and live in the past stay there. You energy should be 100% on the present because it’s what you can control.

I needed to work for it. My parents didn’t buy me anything over $20
as a child, but you know what it was the greatest lesson learned. You see
somehow, I’ve been money motivated and programmed at an early age.

Not sure exactly when and where, but I remember fixing my own Atari at the age of 5. I picked it up at the local swap meet for like 3 bucks. I turned around and played with it for awhile and sold it for $30. I was labeled as the “Wheeler and Dealer” in my circle of influence.

At the age of 11, I remember I really wanted a TV and Stereo system for my room. I remember a neighbor of mine having a paper route in my area. He got tired of his paper route and had given it up to me. I had to convince my mom and dad, but as it turns out for those next 4 years, I was known as “The Paperboy”.

Now, I don’t know what part of town you live in, but I do not see a Paperboy anymore. In 1989-1994, I was rocking the BMX (GT) to be exact and delivering paper. My sweet mom and dad would get up and drive me the days it would rain. I would even get tired some days and my mom would help me fold up paper. She was the best!

I had to go collect money from some customers who didn’t mail their money in and pay “The Times Advocate” their portion and I kept mine. This was truly the beginning of a true business. What kind of company trusted a kid with their money? Well they did and I was as loyal as can be. I had to put up with some interesting characters. Getting the door slammed on my face and mini dogs biting on my ankles. To skinny newspaper flying and catching air to just skim the house and land on the roof. Oh let me tell ya, I had a blast as a child. Probably one of my fondest memories.

I was able to buy trinkets and toys that parents wouldn’t have bought their child otherwise. As a matter of fact, 22 years later and I still have the 13” Sony TV that now my kids use as their game TV in their room. Good ol’ Sony eh?

My concern is, there are no jobs/businesses for kids in the newspaper industry. It was actually taken away by the recovering adults from drugs/alcohol. At least it was in my area. This actually is a big mistake to the newspaper industry because now kids aren’t exposed to newspaper and they will NEVER appreciate it. As you can see now the internet has taken over and very few people will actually read the newspaper as time goes on.

Why would anyone ever kill the Paperboy? If you ever want to feel what it’s like to b ea paperboy/papergirl, you deserve to play the arcade game. It is probably the most memorable game of my childhood carrier because it reminded me of what it was like to generate cash as a child.

If you have memories of a paper route or you were a paperboy or girl, please share below.

It’s hard to believe the fact that most people in this world think they are unhappy. I think this is because they never get content on what they have in the present. Some are because they live in their minds, obsessed with events and situations in their past, or focusing on what has not yet come to pass from the future. They focus on the past or fearfully try to guess their future and thus end up manifesting more of the things they don’t like and dwell upon. Honestly, if you’re reading this now, and you realized my writings is already striking you to the fullest, then you better stop dwelling in the past. Further, when you live in your mind, you grow your ego. The ego can only exist because it was created by the mind, so the more present you are in the current moment, the more you diminish the control your ego has over your life.

I do believe that all of us have the power of mind. Whatever you believe, will truly come true. Of course, you need the guidance of our God. To feel truly happy you should learn to escape your mind. Escaping the mind is a hard thing to do because the mind will do anything it can to retain control. The mind can only really exist if it takes control and keeps you focused on things from the past or anticipation of things in the future. Try not to forget that the mind is important to us in our daily lives, but the extent to which it controls our thoughts and actions should be limited to those essential things in life. So in short, we must know which one is good to think of, and vice versa.

Most people dwell in what the mind creates to the extent that they lose focus on what the mind should and shouldn’t be associated with. Over time this leads people to feel empty inside. Do you feel empty? That emptiness or personal loneliness is caused by people forgetting or disassociating from their spiritual side – a person’s spiritual side isn’t necessarily associated with any religious doctrine but is based on a person’s feelings, intuitions and identification with the higher self. Do you have time for yourself alone?

There are lots of ways to keep a healthy mind. Reading books that enhances positive attitude. Watching movies that value happiness and success. Involving yourself to mind and body exercises, such as yoga and pilates. Try all my suggestions, and I bet, you will be addicted to it. When you try to escape your mind, it will try to convince you that it’s better to keep dwelling away from reality. You will find thoughts following a topic your mind was working on, then dwelling in what has happened or what ‘could be’ without any of those thought processes contributing to improve your current situation. The mind will attempt to convince you that there are so many tasks you still need it to accomplish, preventing you from moving on and forgetting any of them. For example, if you are really upset about something you may feel this needs to keep entertaining the thoughts of betrayal and unfairness that have been inflicted on you in the past. It is important to know that it is just a thinking habit of the mind which keeps your thought processes focused on things that leave you unhappy. It just isn’t a necessity to keep dwelling on the thoughts of negativity as they contribute nothing to improving your daily existence.

People become so overwhelmed with their life situation that they lose the sense of being that makes them individuals, that makes them human. If you are carrying in your mind the burden of a myriad of wrongs inflicted on you in the past, or if you are dwelling on a multitude of fears seated in the future that have not been manifested, then you need to take stock of what your mind is doing to you. IN short, give yourself a break!

Coming to terms with the fact that you don’t need to focus on what your mind will make it easier to escape those thought processes that leave you unhappy. To escape your mind, and what it has created, you should pay attention to what is happening in the here and now. Being present in the current moment and observing what’s around you rather than focusing on your thoughts, is the best way to overcome the thought routine imposed on you through identification with the mind and its habituated focus on activities that essentially leave you dependent on a particular thought routine for your identity.

When you are completely present in the current moment, which we all should be at all times, you understand that, at this very moment, nothing bad is actually happening in your life. You can simply enjoy what is in front of your eyes. You pay attention to things you used to take for granted, like how wonderfully made you are, how blessed you are for existing despite of all the odds in your life. Just be thankful at all times, no matter what.

Many people completely disregard the beauty and wonders of the world that is around them. The faces of people you may see in the street are often gloomy, their daily stressors leaving them looking sallow and older than they really are. People often carry their mental burdens on the shoulders and in their necks, making them ‘hold’ their mental stressors in their physical body. All their locked in stress and tension is caused by their being prisoners of their own thoughts, being subordinate to their own mind and the object of its attention.

Lots of people are quite sensitive to the energies of other people as well as their own energy. It is quite easy to pick up on the energy of couple who have just had an argument despite the academy award winning performance they may put on for people in public. The negative energy involved in the creation of their argument carries over into the world long after the couple appear to be friendly.

It is easy to feel the fluctuations of your own vibrations as well as the energy of people around you. When you are present in the current moment, you vibration is really high. Past resentments and future fears have little influence over your current state of being. You could say that nothing bothers you when you are present in the Now. But as soon as someone goes into too much thinking they can feel the confusion from their mind setting in and your vibration going down. Energy can shift very quickly depending on what you focus on.

The only thing it takes to shift your energy to a more positive frequency away from the reality of routine and unhappiness is to centre yourself in the present moment.

Your mind is the only thing that keeps you down, although that may not look like it at that moment. You may think that it is this person or that particular circumstance responsible for your being upset. You may think that I would be happy ‘if’ or I will be happy ‘when’ I have this or that, but that is never the case. It’s your reaction to what happens to you which is responsible for level of happiness. It is more often than not the reactions of your mind to external situations that will mainifest in your unhappiness.

Being grateful for what you currently have in life is a very effective way of centreing yourself in the present moment. No matter who you are or what circumstances you are in, there is always something you can appreciate and feel grateful for. An attitude of gratitude is what makes you able to manifest better things in your life. So whenever you feel down, try as quickly as you can to escape your mind. Try the Gratitude Breathing Lesson as it is a very effective technique to use when feeling overwhealmed with what you mind has created.
Freedom from the Mind

Everyone in the developed world needs to escape from their mind. All the wisdom comes from the present moment and not from your mind. If you want to change your circumstances or solve some problem, the best way to do that is by staying present and then acting on your intuition that can only be accessed when you are present.

This article was written not through excessive thought, not from process of the mind, but from being centred in the present moment. When you tune into the present moment you access universal intelligence and intuitively accept things for what they are. The intuitive and higher self is responsible for the creation of this article.

So, what is the best way to overcome excessive identification with the mind, relief from the habituated negative thought processes created by the mind? The easiest way to overcome the control of the mind is to relax, stay present in the current moment and appreciate yourself, others, and the world around you for what it is. Appreciate everything that IS, for simply being what it IS, not what you think it should be. Do this, and you will be a happier person, and in control of your mind, not you mind in control of you.
