The seminar was put on by Mindvalley – www.mindvalley.com/about/. Mindvalley is a company that was developed for the person seeking more out of life through enlightenment. For those that don’t understand enlightenment, the best way I can describe it is reaching your higher self so that you can connect to your utmost potential in life.

I have been blessed enough to have married an awesome woman who sees more to life than being stagnant. We forward that belief to our 3 boys and apply a sense of reaching for the stars with little to no limitations. Conventional thinking in our school system teaches us linear (1 track) thinking. As does our jobs with our paychecks (1 track stream of income). Therefore, if there is an infinite amount of possibilities through other systems of learning, you literally have no limitations.

I have been to many seminars. A lot of coaching in the sales and marketing industry as well as personal development. I will have to say that Mindvalley is up at the top of the charts for their forward thinking. I was given some tools that I have never even thought about to utilize my brain to another potential. A lot of this stuff is deep and truly “out of the box” thinking, so if you’re open to get a snippet of the notes I took and some audio notes, feel free to jump into my evernotes by clicking here.

What I personally received from this session is understanding the power of self meditation to create an abundant life. You have the power to connect with your power self. I encourage you to go through the course material.

To you abundance,

Here’s my point, even though you enter them in, sometimes it’s hard to tell if you’re on the right audio track because the title may be too long, it may just get shuffled, etc. I’m sure there is an easier way, but just owning the CD and using it when you need to focus on that author and lesson of the day is enough. The CD is enough to get you focused on that lesson. Did you know it takes 17 times to listen to an audio book before you can absorb it correctly?

The whole key to reversing the process of disappointment in your life is to keep working on yourself. Jeffery Combs, my coach allowed me to release a lot of the baggage I took from childhood and let go. I had an open mind to invest in myself. Unfortunately, a lot of folks I know aren’t open to change. The sad reality is that their ego doesn’t reflect their bank account. They’re one paycheck away from being broke. They have no control of their lifestyle and that is disappointing to say the least.

You’ll never go back to the old ways. Once you know what’s possible. You won’t be able to contain yourself of the rich information that will assist you in changing your lifestyle, your friendships, your bank account. It’s not a matter of if, but when.

Each days of our lives, it’s inevitable we will make mistakes. However, everything happens for a reason, so we should never be afraid of making mistakes. What matters most is that we leave the past behind, and simply learn from it. Of course, try not to bounce back over the same mistakes. Admittedly, as human beings, we can repeatedly make the same mistakes. It’s a fact! None can deny it, even a perfectionist makes the same mistakes thrice .

Plenty of us think in the form of “could of, should of” which will flash into your mind after making a mistake. Makes come and go. Failures come and go. I was once told by a mentor of mine Mr. Jim Rohn, double your rate of failure to really see results. Whether financially, health, or any situation you want to get a stat from.

My point is, it’s indeed a waste of time trying to figure out everything about a decision you made, and realized that it was a big mistake. If you could only turned back time, you would not make that same decision again…From the statement itself, if you could turn back time, the problem is that no one can turn back time. History repeat itself and it will continue to repeat itself. That’s the only chance you have to make the right decision, once the same scenario occurs in your life.

Lets talk about how we are being changed with our wrong decisions in life

*
At first we feel so upset, and useless. As if we want to simply sleep all day, hoping that when we wake up everything is under control.
*
Second, we feel guilty for committing mistakes, and worst, if someone has been affected by our wrong moves, we would not only feel guilty, we would surely feel like we want to burry ourselves.
*
Third, we want an instant change…we become very eager to change our identity.

The great thing is that once we’re done contemplating over our mistakes, and realize its time to move on, we become a better person, we become more positive, much stronger, much willing to face defeat, more appreciative over small things..and of course more forgiving. Yet, if we are the type of people who don’t welcome changes and corrections in life, then past should simply be left behind, or else we might do something terrible on top of our simple mistakes.

Leave the past behind, and let us not dwell on it but that doesn’t mean you’d be ashamed of the mistakes you have committed. You don’t have to be ashame of anything, for as long as you’ve learned from it and have already move on. Of course, it is also important that you have commited to make yourself a better person. Asking your mentor, your idol, your elders to teach you how they survive from all odds in life, will help you realize that life must go on, even after a shameful mistakes you have committed.

Surround yourself, with God fearing friends with very positive attitude. If it’s necessary for you to change your environment, so be it. Go for it! Read books about how to handle your consequences of your very own mistakes. Or read more about enhancing your personalities and dealing with your past Live life to the fullest, you can only do that, if you will forgive yourself, and just learned from where you’ve failed.

To Your Abundance,

It’s hard to believe the fact that most people in this world think they are unhappy. I think this is because they never get content on what they have in the present. Some are because they live in their minds, obsessed with events and situations in their past, or focusing on what has not yet come to pass from the future. They focus on the past or fearfully try to guess their future and thus end up manifesting more of the things they don’t like and dwell upon. Honestly, if you’re reading this now, and you realized my writings is already striking you to the fullest, then you better stop dwelling in the past. Further, when you live in your mind, you grow your ego. The ego can only exist because it was created by the mind, so the more present you are in the current moment, the more you diminish the control your ego has over your life.

I do believe that all of us have the power of mind. Whatever you believe, will truly come true. Of course, you need the guidance of our God. To feel truly happy you should learn to escape your mind. Escaping the mind is a hard thing to do because the mind will do anything it can to retain control. The mind can only really exist if it takes control and keeps you focused on things from the past or anticipation of things in the future. Try not to forget that the mind is important to us in our daily lives, but the extent to which it controls our thoughts and actions should be limited to those essential things in life. So in short, we must know which one is good to think of, and vice versa.

Most people dwell in what the mind creates to the extent that they lose focus on what the mind should and shouldn’t be associated with. Over time this leads people to feel empty inside. Do you feel empty? That emptiness or personal loneliness is caused by people forgetting or disassociating from their spiritual side – a person’s spiritual side isn’t necessarily associated with any religious doctrine but is based on a person’s feelings, intuitions and identification with the higher self. Do you have time for yourself alone?

There are lots of ways to keep a healthy mind. Reading books that enhances positive attitude. Watching movies that value happiness and success. Involving yourself to mind and body exercises, such as yoga and pilates. Try all my suggestions, and I bet, you will be addicted to it. When you try to escape your mind, it will try to convince you that it’s better to keep dwelling away from reality. You will find thoughts following a topic your mind was working on, then dwelling in what has happened or what ‘could be’ without any of those thought processes contributing to improve your current situation. The mind will attempt to convince you that there are so many tasks you still need it to accomplish, preventing you from moving on and forgetting any of them. For example, if you are really upset about something you may feel this needs to keep entertaining the thoughts of betrayal and unfairness that have been inflicted on you in the past. It is important to know that it is just a thinking habit of the mind which keeps your thought processes focused on things that leave you unhappy. It just isn’t a necessity to keep dwelling on the thoughts of negativity as they contribute nothing to improving your daily existence.

People become so overwhelmed with their life situation that they lose the sense of being that makes them individuals, that makes them human. If you are carrying in your mind the burden of a myriad of wrongs inflicted on you in the past, or if you are dwelling on a multitude of fears seated in the future that have not been manifested, then you need to take stock of what your mind is doing to you. IN short, give yourself a break!

Coming to terms with the fact that you don’t need to focus on what your mind will make it easier to escape those thought processes that leave you unhappy. To escape your mind, and what it has created, you should pay attention to what is happening in the here and now. Being present in the current moment and observing what’s around you rather than focusing on your thoughts, is the best way to overcome the thought routine imposed on you through identification with the mind and its habituated focus on activities that essentially leave you dependent on a particular thought routine for your identity.

When you are completely present in the current moment, which we all should be at all times, you understand that, at this very moment, nothing bad is actually happening in your life. You can simply enjoy what is in front of your eyes. You pay attention to things you used to take for granted, like how wonderfully made you are, how blessed you are for existing despite of all the odds in your life. Just be thankful at all times, no matter what.

Many people completely disregard the beauty and wonders of the world that is around them. The faces of people you may see in the street are often gloomy, their daily stressors leaving them looking sallow and older than they really are. People often carry their mental burdens on the shoulders and in their necks, making them ‘hold’ their mental stressors in their physical body. All their locked in stress and tension is caused by their being prisoners of their own thoughts, being subordinate to their own mind and the object of its attention.

Lots of people are quite sensitive to the energies of other people as well as their own energy. It is quite easy to pick up on the energy of couple who have just had an argument despite the academy award winning performance they may put on for people in public. The negative energy involved in the creation of their argument carries over into the world long after the couple appear to be friendly.

It is easy to feel the fluctuations of your own vibrations as well as the energy of people around you. When you are present in the current moment, you vibration is really high. Past resentments and future fears have little influence over your current state of being. You could say that nothing bothers you when you are present in the Now. But as soon as someone goes into too much thinking they can feel the confusion from their mind setting in and your vibration going down. Energy can shift very quickly depending on what you focus on.

The only thing it takes to shift your energy to a more positive frequency away from the reality of routine and unhappiness is to centre yourself in the present moment.

Your mind is the only thing that keeps you down, although that may not look like it at that moment. You may think that it is this person or that particular circumstance responsible for your being upset. You may think that I would be happy ‘if’ or I will be happy ‘when’ I have this or that, but that is never the case. It’s your reaction to what happens to you which is responsible for level of happiness. It is more often than not the reactions of your mind to external situations that will mainifest in your unhappiness.

Being grateful for what you currently have in life is a very effective way of centreing yourself in the present moment. No matter who you are or what circumstances you are in, there is always something you can appreciate and feel grateful for. An attitude of gratitude is what makes you able to manifest better things in your life. So whenever you feel down, try as quickly as you can to escape your mind. Try the Gratitude Breathing Lesson as it is a very effective technique to use when feeling overwhealmed with what you mind has created.
Freedom from the Mind

Everyone in the developed world needs to escape from their mind. All the wisdom comes from the present moment and not from your mind. If you want to change your circumstances or solve some problem, the best way to do that is by staying present and then acting on your intuition that can only be accessed when you are present.

This article was written not through excessive thought, not from process of the mind, but from being centred in the present moment. When you tune into the present moment you access universal intelligence and intuitively accept things for what they are. The intuitive and higher self is responsible for the creation of this article.

So, what is the best way to overcome excessive identification with the mind, relief from the habituated negative thought processes created by the mind? The easiest way to overcome the control of the mind is to relax, stay present in the current moment and appreciate yourself, others, and the world around you for what it is. Appreciate everything that IS, for simply being what it IS, not what you think it should be. Do this, and you will be a happier person, and in control of your mind, not you mind in control of you.

As I write this, I write this with passion of love. Many people that know me have known Cesar Ramirez as a hard worker. Someone who never gives up wanting to achieve more and never settling for less. As I write this, I’m lying in bed on a Monday morning being inspired by my good friend Ray Higdon on his post about connecting with his father after 13 years.

I am often asked why do I support and stick around the Network Marketing industry so long. It hit me this morning that I find myself being me and free to be whom I want to be to develop myself more and connect with like minded people.

I don’t know if you can relate to this but many years ago I was finding myself really disgusted with the job industry. You know, you go to school, to get a degree, to hopefully find a job that will make you a comfortable living. I found that job and it got outsourced over seas the day of my graduation.

You know it was a cycle of never ending selling myself to get another job that wasn’t a recruiting agency. I was like “man, if I have to keep going through this cycle and depending on one stream of income to take care of my family, I’m just not going to feel safe living this way.”

So I started to educate myself on businesses and what made great people like Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, etc successful. I found one similar thing in common, they all dropped out of college and they had every reason not to fail. They had a burning desire to succeed. Logically, it makes sense why I picked those three names. They are in my industry. I am a Computer Engineer by degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am a business minded person by nature because of the choices I made and circumstances that I was around. I started my first computer service company in 2006 after being let go from a corporate job because I beat my manager at a Foosball game (seriously he wasn’t happy and had it out for me to let me go).

I knew that if I would bring value to the market place, I would become successful. On the contrary, it also made one big change in my life because I was going completely against what anyone in my family was doing. I was told many times to get a corporate job to get benefits. My mentality was making more money and buying my own benefits. Creating my own circumstances instead of depending on the government, corporate, etc. A slight edge shift in thinking.

Anytime I would talk to my family about the benefits of being in business for yourself, they could not agree with me because they have not experienced anything different then a 9-5 job. So with that said relationships were gambled. Many would not support my decision and even though they knew I was in business, many would not hire me to take care of their computer tasks. They would hire someone else to do the work and honestly, I was offended. Would you not agree if you grew up with someone, looking up to them and they turn around and ignored your efforts to achieve more that they would support you? Instead they ignore you for achieving more and that creates tension and disgust.

Here’s my advice to everyone that has gone through this adversity. The best thing you can do for your life and business is to love those people that treat you and your business like that twice as much. You see, it’s your business. When you’re in business for yourself, it’s your life. The employee mindset folks don’t understand that because they punch in and punch out to go home to complete hopelessness of repeating that cycle day after day. So if you’ve ever gotten the “why do you always talk about your business life around me?” question. Simply say because people do business with people and that’s my life. People don’t do business with companies. Money comes from people and referrals come from people. That’s life.

Why Network Marketing?

I’ve been involved with Network Marketing since 1999 and have had some great success. They say anyone making over $1000 a month part-time is successful. Why do I choose to support the pyramid scheme systems (as the dream killers call it). Simply because it gives the “Average Joe” a chance at developing a business. A “system” that is already proven to work if you follow the recipe. Almost like a McDonald’s without the 1.2 Million Dollar investment.

Here in California, it costs $800+ a year just to keep your corporation going. In a Network Marketing type business, you don’t have to worry about incorporating. All of the headaches of opening up a business are taken care of for you. A S.Y.S.T.E.M. – Save YourSelf Time Energy and Money.

Networking Marketing starts with friends and family. Of course. Any business that you open up should involve the people that you love. If they get offended simply state, “look, I’m sharing this with you because if and when I’m growing my business and making some radical money at it, I want you to know I thought about you. If you found out from someone else and I didn’t share it with you, you’d be twice as offended.”

Network Marketing is not new. It started in 1890 with a company called Avon. They are still in business to this day. I support every single one of these companies and endorse them because of “what makes a leader shine.” We all “want” to win. The problem with the majority of the people out there is that we’ve been conditioned to lose.

There is a book called “The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson”. I have the audio book. It is absolutely unequivocally the most important book to read when you are first getting started in developing your life, business, health and goals. If you haven’t read it or heard the audio book, I encourage you to do so now. You can find it at Amazon or any major book store. If you’re a part of my team, I give every single one of my recruits a copy of the book or audio which ever they prefer.

If you made it this far. You’re a winner. Keep me in your prayers as I will do in mine.

Always with love,

Cesar Ramirez.

“The quest for manifistation daily. How to attract goodness to your life.”

If you want to be successful, you have to know how to attract goodness into your life. You can have it, if you believe…

I personally find positive quotes a quick way to elevate our thoughts. There is nothing like a good book of loving, motivational quotes to have around, to grab one quote and let it bring us to a more positive state at any time.

Below are the list of my suggestions, along with some of my friends, who’s currently enjoying a very successful life:

   1. Be aware of your thoughts. If you think, lately you’ve been thinking of problems and how to solve it…Try thinking of something that made your day, and meditate on it

2. Realize your negative thoughts. Always remember that negative thoughts trigger negative emotions. If you have so much fear, jealousy, worry, anger, and many more, points at something going on that doesn’t match with what you actually want or are.

   3. Change your negative thoughts for positive ones. You can only think of one thing at a time, so if you think about something positive, there is no room for negativity.

No one else will help you in controlling whatever should consume your thought. You can always be supportive of yourself and take the necessary steps of positive thinking…You don’t carry the world upon your shoulders, so don’t dare pretend you can carry heavy burdens at all times…There are times that it does not seem so easy to get rid of negative thoughts, especially if you think you have a large problem.
But at the end of the day,it’s always up to you…Everything you feed your mind is always up to you. When we feel down our mind just tricks us to think that it is much more difficult than it actually is.
We need to acknowledge when we feel overwhelmed. If the circumstances are just “too much”, let them be for a while and focus on living in the present you are in. Come back to your issues when you are ready to deal with them.

4. Take some time to be with friends, and love ones and just unwind in a cozy place, where all you will do is reminisce of good memories.
5. Do something different, something you will feel so worth of your existence. Help a fund raising for poor people.
6. Read books, sing out loud, dance to your favorite tune and exercise at home…Keep yourself busy.
7. Get rid of anything or anyone that is causing you too much problem and issues in life.
8. Pray a lot…and ask for guidance. Always be thankful in everything, and enjoy little things to greater things.
9. Forgive and forgive. Move on and Let go, were necessary factor to live a happy life.
10. Eat healthy and live life to the fullest.

There are really lot’s of list to have a healthy, and wealthy life. But if you don’t try to start changing your thoughts, and facing life with positive attitude, then you will only go back to feeling in the dumps, as what you thought you were. If you want something, believe that you can get it. But of course, positive thoughts and attitude, is one great key to success, you gotta keep it in mind and in your heart.

From wikipedia: Conformity is the process by which an individual’s attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors are influenced by other people.
This influence occurs in both small groups and society as a whole, and it may be the result of subtle unconscious influences, or direct and overt social pressure. Conformity also occurs by the “implied presence” of others, or when other people are not actually present. For example, people tend to follow the norms of society when eating or watching television, even when they are at home by themselves.

People often conform from a desire to achieve a sense of security within a group—typically a group that is of a similar age, culture, religion, or educational status. Any unwillingness to conform carries with it the very real risk of social rejection. In this respect, conformity can be seen as a safe means of avoiding bullying or deflecting criticism from peers. Conformity is often associated with adolescence and youth culture, but it affects humans of all ages.

Although peer pressure may be viewed as a negative trait, conformity can have either good or bad effects depending on the situation. Driving safely on the correct side of the road is a beneficial example of conformity. Conformity influences the formation and maintenance of social norms and allows society to function smoothly and predictably.
