I think this is because they never get content on what they have in the present. Some are because they live in their minds, obsessed with events and situations in their past, or focusing on what has not yet come to pass from the future. They focus on the past or fearfully try to guess their future and thus end up manifesting more of the things they don’t like and dwell upon. Honestly, if you’re reading this now, and you realized my writings is already striking you to the fullest, then you better stop dwelling in the past. Further, when you live in your mind, you grow your ego. The ego can only exist because it was created by the mind, so the more present you are in the current moment, the more you diminish the control your ego has over your life.

I do believe that all of us have the power of mind. Whatever you believe, will truly come true. Of course, you need the guidance of our God. To feel truly happy you should learn to escape your mind. Escaping the mind is a hard thing to do because the mind will do anything it can to retain control. The mind can only really exist if it takes control and keeps you focused on things from the past or anticipation of things in the future. Try not to forget that the mind is important to us in our daily lives, but the extent to which it controls our thoughts and actions should be limited to those essential things in life. So in short, we must know which one is good to think of, and vice versa.

Most people dwell in what the mind creates to the extent that they lose focus on what the mind should and shouldn’t be associated with. Over time this leads people to feel empty inside. Do you feel empty? That emptiness or personal loneliness is caused by people forgetting or disassociating from their spiritual side – a person’s spiritual side isn’t necessarily associated with any religious doctrine but is based on a person’s feelings, intuitions and identification with the higher self. Do you have time for yourself alone?

There are lots of ways to keep a healthy mind. Reading books that enhances positive attitude. Watching movies that value happiness and success. Involving yourself to mind and body exercises, such as yoga and pilates. Try all my suggestions, and I bet, you will be addicted to it. When you try to escape your mind, it will try to convince you that it’s better to keep dwelling away from reality. You will find thoughts following a topic your mind was working on, then dwelling in what has happened or what ‘could be’ without any of those thought processes contributing to improve your current situation. The mind will attempt to convince you that there are so many tasks you still need it to accomplish, preventing you from moving on and forgetting any of them. For example, if you are really upset about something you may feel this needs to keep entertaining the thoughts of betrayal and unfairness that have been inflicted on you in the past. It is important to know that it is just a thinking habit of the mind which keeps your thought processes focused on things that leave you unhappy. It just isn’t a necessity to keep dwelling on the thoughts of negativity as they contribute nothing to improving your daily existence.

People become so overwhelmed with their life situation that they lose the sense of being that makes them individuals, that makes them human. If you are carrying in your mind the burden of a myriad of wrongs inflicted on you in the past, or if you are dwelling on a multitude of fears seated in the future that have not been manifested, then you need to take stock of what your mind is doing to you. IN short, give yourself a break!

Coming to terms with the fact that you don’t need to focus on what your mind will make it easier to escape those thought processes that leave you unhappy. To escape your mind, and what it has created, you should pay attention to what is happening in the here and now. Being present in the current moment and observing what’s around you rather than focusing on your thoughts, is the best way to overcome the thought routine imposed on you through identification with the mind and its habituated focus on activities that essentially leave you dependent on a particular thought routine for your identity.

When you are completely present in the current moment, which we all should be at all times, you understand that, at this very moment, nothing bad is actually happening in your life. You can simply enjoy what is in front of your eyes. You pay attention to things you used to take for granted, like how wonderfully made you are, how blessed you are for existing despite of all the odds in your life. Just be thankful at all times, no matter what.

Many people completely disregard the beauty and wonders of the world that is around them. The faces of people you may see in the street are often gloomy, their daily stressors leaving them looking sallow and older than they really are. People often carry their mental burdens on the shoulders and in their necks, making them ‘hold’ their mental stressors in their physical body. All their locked in stress and tension is caused by their being prisoners of their own thoughts, being subordinate to their own mind and the object of its attention.

Lots of people are quite sensitive to the energies of other people as well as their own energy. It is quite easy to pick up on the energy of couple who have just had an argument despite the academy award winning performance they may put on for people in public. The negative energy involved in the creation of their argument carries over into the world long after the couple appear to be friendly.

It is easy to feel the fluctuations of your own vibrations as well as the energy of people around you. When you are present in the current moment, you vibration is really high. Past resentments and future fears have little influence over your current state of being. You could say that nothing bothers you when you are present in the Now. But as soon as someone goes into too much thinking they can feel the confusion from their mind setting in and your vibration going down. Energy can shift very quickly depending on what you focus on.

The only thing it takes to shift your energy to a more positive frequency away from the reality of routine and unhappiness is to centre yourself in the present moment.

Your mind is the only thing that keeps you down, although that may not look like it at that moment. You may think that it is this person or that particular circumstance responsible for your being upset. You may think that I would be happy ‘if’ or I will be happy ‘when’ I have this or that, but that is never the case. It’s your reaction to what happens to you which is responsible for level of happiness. It is more often than not the reactions of your mind to external situations that will mainifest in your unhappiness.

Being grateful for what you currently have in life is a very effective way of centreing yourself in the present moment. No matter who you are or what circumstances you are in, there is always something you can appreciate and feel grateful for. An attitude of gratitude is what makes you able to manifest better things in your life. So whenever you feel down, try as quickly as you can to escape your mind. Try the Gratitude Breathing Lesson as it is a very effective technique to use when feeling overwhealmed with what you mind has created.
Freedom from the Mind

Everyone in the developed world needs to escape from their mind. All the wisdom comes from the present moment and not from your mind. If you want to change your circumstances or solve some problem, the best way to do that is by staying present and then acting on your intuition that can only be accessed when you are present.

This article was written not through excessive thought, not from process of the mind, but from being centred in the present moment. When you tune into the present moment you access universal intelligence and intuitively accept things for what they are. The intuitive and higher self is responsible for the creation of this article.

So, what is the best way to overcome excessive identification with the mind, relief from the habituated negative thought processes created by the mind? The easiest way to overcome the control of the mind is to relax, stay present in the current moment and appreciate yourself, others, and the world around you for what it is. Appreciate everything that IS, for simply being what it IS, not what you think it should be. Do this, and you will be a happier person, and in control of your mind, not you mind in control of you.

If you haven’t heard of the No Excuses Summit in Vegas, you probably weren’t online or you’re still wondering what you’re doing with that old computer that can barely push Windows 95. Just Kidding . The lineup for the No Excuses Summit was so amazing that if I didn’t make it down there, I knew I’d miss a ton of value from these online marketing Gurus. If you have no interest in making money online with a home business, I completely understand this is not for you, but wait… there is more …. In case you are wondering what you missed, I took some awesome notes for you. After all, I know you were too busy to make it out, but this may have been the largest Internet Network Marketing summit in MLM history so I will tell you about it. [Read Closely]

The No Excuses Summit was put together by Raymond Fong and Ferny Ceballos and they brought together the biggest names in the Internet based network marketing. I am talking about big hitters such as Jimmy Davis, Justin Christianson, Jeff Learner, Jairek Robbins (Tony Robbins’ son), Chris and Josephine Gross, Norbert Orlewicz (co-owner of MLSP), Brian Finale (co-owner of My Lead System Pro), Tim Erway, Mike Dillard (owner of Magnetic Sponsoring and BetterNetworker.com), Jonathan Budd, Cedrick Harris (The crazy dude I always talk about in a good way), Mark Hoverson, Todd Falcone, David Schwind & Jim Yaghi, Katie Freiling (The beautiful face behind the Unified Tribe), Joseph O’Day and Adam Holland. A rare gathering I know but get this, you’re gonna love the nuggets I’m about to share.

The Importance of Being at Events

I learned from a mentor a long time ago “Cesar, if you want to be successful you must be at events and hang out with other like-minded type people.” That sentence stuck with me to this day.

The major reasons I went to the event:

1) My team was down there for my primary business and I didn’t want to be the faceless guy that hid behind the computer and didn’t connect.
2) I wanted to bring myself new nuggets and be able to teach those new nuggets to people like yourself
3) To grow my self brand image. They say that networking outside of the event doors is just as important as inside with the training. I wanted to take pictures with the speakers without the crowds during breaks.

Online Marketers Connect

I come from the old school ways of doing business. BELLY TO BELLY! Can you believe it? You had to actually open your mouth and speak to someone to make a connection. I still use this method. The internet has taken away (some of) the pain of rejection for some people. I have found that it is rare for a computer geek like me to be able to interact with people socially as I have been a guru on computers for many years (since 1983). I do enjoy and love people though. Money and happiness doesn’t come from a computer. It comes from interacting with people and connecting with them to build your trust. So with that said, online marketing does work with the notion that you also connect with people offline.

Let’s get right into it.

Day 1 of the No Excuses Summit (Friday 9th, 2010)

Jimmy Davis says he was trying for 14 years. “Trying is failing with honor.” Jimmy Davis opened it up talking about marketing funnel systems. He is known as the “My Story Marketing” guru. Jimmy said that if you want to convert your traffic, you must understand funnels.

An example that he showed us was something like this:

Landing Page (short video)

| Business Presentation

| Testimony Videos (could be for you or your business, preferably YOU)

| Have your assistant call the prospect. (Could be you with funky voice lol, mom, wife, anybody but you)

| You call them

Pretty neat concept. You can hire a virtual assistant to do this. You can find a virtual assistant for cheap and interview them at ODesk. Having someone call your prospect first before they speak to you is such a powerful concept. Let’s think about this for a second. It allows you to be the hunted instead of the hunter because of it making you look like someone who is of professional caliber.

What is your why?
Why are you in the company that you’re in. What determines who you are, what you do, and you feel is the future you are living into.

To make money online you do 2 things:

1) Send Traffic

2) Convert Traffic

To make money NOW you send more traffic.

Just like knowing that diet and exercise will help you lose weight, knowing that you need to send traffic and convert traffic is a small piece of the puzzle. He says you need to find a Mentor because that is what Top Earners do. Avoid Advisors because they will lose you. As you will see this information develop, I think there is “more than meets the eye” (yes I am a fanatic of 80s Transformers ). What I mean is this, I listen to these gurus give some awesome value content and most of the stuff I gathered was a mix of theory and practical. You definately need both to connect with your audience.

Team Meet-up

After the Friday Night session ended around 8:30pm, I got together with my team to do some masterminding. It blew me away seeing a “secret audio CD” that was created for many members of the team to be passed out. This CD contained some nuggets of why there is such a shake up in network marketing with two online gurus. It invited the prospect to a special event we held on Saturday at 9pm when the events were finished. It exposed our business to many folks and I was even sitting next to an offline marketing guru with 600,000 reps in his primary company. He liked our concept so much. Definitely someone I do not want to let go of.

Party at the Luxor

The Luxor

Soon after, I got invited to a private event at the Luxor. It wasn’t crowded at all by the time I got there. Actually, I got a bit lost with my buddy Jim Chao. Jim and I drove out together since he moved pretty close to me. Eventually, we found the event in a private rented room and networking was taking place. I met up some of the speakers and got to exchange ideas. It was amazing. Katie Freiling, Ryan Dunn, Mark Hoverson, Norbert from mlsp, Ray Higdon, Tracy Walker and a whole lot of other Network Marketers. All the pizza was gone lol (which I probably shouldn’t have eaten anyway) but I had such an amazing time planting my seeds and connecting. I shared with some of the leaders my secrets of the Craiglist Loop Hole I found. I got home at around 2:30am to get some rest.

No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas, NV (Saturday 10th, 2010)

So I got labeled pretty quick from people recognizing my face online as “The Craiglist Guy” from just one webinar I did. I thought it was pretty funny really, but imagine this. You create a product from connecting with 10 people that think like you and have a different niche of skill then you do and now you’re known in the circle of influence. I actually used this to my leverage when someone asked what I was currently working on, I said “I found a loop hole in Craigslist and it’s working for marketing.” Do you think they want to know about it? This is pretty amazing to say the least and I’m focus to get my product out ASAP! So stay tuned for the release of “Craigslist Ad Power” here shortly. (make sure to put your name and email at the top right to get into my list for release date)

I just have to make this side note. I have been marketing online as a professional since January 2010 using attraction marketing. That’s only 7 months! Granted I have been around the computer industry for quite a few years but I did not know how to properly market online until I plugged into a system. That system is MLSP.

Norbert Orlewicz and me

Norbert Orlewicz is the co-founder of mlsp and he put on quite the show. He just announced the release of the Platinum Version which adds a lot more value to your online marketing like video hosting (since the YouTube Slaps) and much more. They even build and setup your MLSP for you (Check out back office for more information on MLSP gurus setting up your system).

If you’re new to online marketing you may be use to the phrase “Have you made any money yet?” and you have to sit there and explain that you’re on your way and you hear that pause of (hmmmm). Well Norbert gave out a GOLDEN NUGGET! He said to basically answer “No, I have not yet but I am generating leads now and I can teach you how.” Isn’t that amazing?

Now if you cannot say that you’re generating leads, you can follow what I did and join their program here. Whether you do or not use the system, you must find a way to generate leads so you can use that answer so that you can position yourself with leads. Norbert also brought up a valid point which has been working for my team which is, don’t expect people to use MLSP just because they signed up, but give them direction. As I outlined here in this video: [Video]. Norbert said “Give directions rather than ask them to do something.” Some of us B.S. around the bush and try to kiss up to our prospects or new recruits. Your time is valuable and you are ALWAYS on the run but you will spend 15 minutes to support them and coach them. That’s where you deserve to be.

Brian Fanale was up next:

Brian Fanale

Brian Finale was up next and he is one of the founders with My Lead System Pro. He said a great line from the Joker in the latest Batman, “If you are good at something you expect to be paid”, I love it! He gave instructions on starting to run your own webinars as soon as possible that are packed with value. Most use GoToMeeting,

Brian gave out some good links too that you might want to checkout:

- KeepVid.com – Downloads youtube videos (Disclaimer: you want to have permission before you do this or you might get into some trouble)

- search.twitter.com – search Twitter for people that you want to connect with and might be in your niche

- gravatar.com – If you are leaving comments on people’s blogs, you want to look professional and have a picture show, this will automate for you every time you leave a comment on blog sites Now, some of you out there are already generating sales through affiliate marketing.

Brian gave a million dollar tip here, pay attention to this one. If you have someone on your list buying products from you, put them in a special list. Send them cookies, send them gifts, but take care of them and you might just have a lifelong income stream. I am going to start doing this as I have generated a lot of income in affiliate marketing but have not taken special care of those who purchased from me a lot. Brian said to get better at Facebook PPC to check out Perry Marshall. He shed some light on this sometimes misunderstood marketing strategy and recommended sending Facebook PPC traffic to a Fan page that has an optin. His company is going to start doing this for members of My Lead System automatically without any programming on the side of the user so that is pretty awesome as I have no clue how to create an optin for a facebook fan page. Some good tips for facebook PPC: – They are tougher on you when you start so don’t start with ads that say MLM, FREE, Get Rich, Etc.

Todd Falcone is a rockstar. I am really glad I connected with him, not only is he a snazzy dresser, he is also a fantastic trainer. He specializes in prospecting, closing and scripts. He gave a great response to that goofball question that we sometimes get, “Is this Network Marketing?” He said to answer it, “Hell Yes, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t touch it!” Isn’t that awesome? He made a great observation in that people will show up to their job every day even if they hate it but they won’t show up for their network marketing opportunity that actually has the potential to make them rich. Why is that? He says because there are no consequences. If you want to create real results in your home business you might want to create consequences for you and your teammates. If you don’t show up to work for three days and don’t call, you will more than likely be fired. Unfortunately, if the same person doesn’t call their upline, show up to meetings or work their home biz, they will get away with no consequences and of course, no real wealth either.

I agree with Todd’s method of the two strikes and you are out philosophy of leaving phone messages for your prospects. Don’t chase, beg or bug them, if they don’t do what they say they are going to do, they also won’t do it if they were in your business. Stop chasing people and stop chasing the signup bonus and look for quality people to work with.

Todd said don’t ever “dabble” with your opportunity. Do it, but don’t dabble or treat it as a hobby. Now, this is a HUGE tip for you guys that are generating leads. Use the information of the lead to build rapport. Let’s look at an example:

Leadname – Joe Prospectson
Cityname – Washington, DC
Phone – 206-206-2062
Email – IeatCornFlakes@gmail.com

What can you do with this instead of just calling them and asking them what they liked about your opportunity? Well, you can use their data to build rapport. Here are a few examples: – Hey Joe, I saw you visited my page, I also see you are in Wash DC, I was just up there, what a great city! How long have you been there?

- Hey Joe, I saw you visited my page, I also see you are in the 206 area code, my friend Brian is a paintball expert up there, he loves it, how do you like it?

- Hey Joe, I saw you visited my page, I also see your last name is prospectson, are you related to a Tony Prospectson that lives in Austin, Texas?

- Hey Joe, I saw you visited my page, I also see you eat cornflakes, I love cornflakes but you must really love them to make it your email address! This business is all about relationships and you start down the path when you create rapport. Then, the man, the myth, stepped up on stage, I am talking about none other than Mike Dillard. Mike Dillard is the creator of Magnetic Sponsoring which is the granddaddy of all network marketing informational products. I honestly do not know one successful network marketer that uses the Internet that has not purchased something from Mike so it was great to meet him. Mike did an open Q&A with the audience and showed why he is who he is. I cannot repeat all the questions and his answers but here is what I got from him:

- Find out why people will buy your product or business – Get rid of your emotional attachment to the outcome of your marketing – Your skillset is the key to your financial future, not your opportunity

- His number one tip is to learn copywriting. There are some pretty expensives courses out there, Mike did this one and it’s solid – Master Copywriting (if you don’t know where to go)

Jonathan Budd

Jonathan Budd is the shaolin monk of Internet Marketing. He was the 22 year punk that came on the internet. I wrote an article on why I joined MLSP over his system. All opinions aside, he is a cool guy and really connected with a positive mindset. He is the founder of the Online MLM Mastery Course that has generated so many successful marketers. I met Jonathan a long time ago through a mutual friend and he is a guy you really want to pay attention to as he is razor sharp. He gave some very solid real world advice on how to get to where you want to go from where you currently are. Here are the highlights: Create Your Own Product 1. Record webinars 2. Interview Top Leaders in the Industry 3. Record Audio at http://audacity.sourceforge.net for free! 4. Write your own ebook and turn it into a PDF.

Jonathan Budd and Cesar Ramirez making up!

You know I have nothing against Jonathan. He is a smart kid and honestly he makes a lot of people angry because of his quick success. I showed him my cell phone on having a number he had from 3 years ago. I asked him, what number is this? He said oh man, that’s like my early years with the reverse funnel system. He says that was such an awesome product. I take back some of the stuff I said about Budd. Just some . He’s cool though and we’re like 30 minutes away from each other. Word on the street is he is dating Katie Freiling. I don’t blame him, she’s hot! She’s from my current city, Temecula, CA. Pretty small world I tell you. Thanks Budd for being cool with me champ.

Cedrick Harris

My man Cedrick spoke last at the conference and he ROCKED THE HOUSE! For those that do not know, Cedrick Harris is the number one recruiter in my primary and he the best closer in this industry. This is undisputed so I don’t have to say he is “one of”, he is simply the best. Cedrick covered offline marketing, which, everyone should seriously pay attention to as there are heavy hitters I have enrolled in my business because of the fact that I am not just an online marketer. Cedrick was probably the speaker that generated the most commotion, I am sure that has a lot to do with having such a large amount of his downline in the audience! Great job Cedrick! Cedrick has a product called the 10k Per Month Attraction Marketing Blueprint which I highly endorse. If you haven’t picked it up, you deserve to. It’s a Zero Fluff offline and online marketing system.

After Day 2 of the No Excuses Summit

I was actually masterminding with David Wood on Friday night when I heard about this sneaky tactic. Cedrick and David developed an Audio CD to have me and the rest of the team pass out at the conference on Saturday. This audio CD inviting folks to our 9pm gathering. It was an amazing event. Just look at how many folks here here.

I was actually sitting in the back. It was so packed that it started to get kinda hot lol. Fortunately, this created a lot of buzz and over 20 people joined that night. To take a look at the presentation that was shown, watch it here: [Saturday Night Presentation]

What About For Those That Missed It? The No Excuses Summit DVD!

If you couldn’t make it out to this rare event, I highly recommend you pick up The No Excuses Summit DVD. I will inform you all when it is released.

No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas, NV (Sunday 11th, 2010)

The final day of the event.

Katie Freiling and Cesar Ramirez

First up was Tim Erway, Tim worked directly with Mike Dillard on Magnetic Sponsoring and is a copywriting guru. He broke down copywriting in a very easy to understand way. He broke it down to 3 questions you should always ask yourself:
1. Who is your prospect? Be as specific as possible
2. What is their problem?
3. How can you solve it?

He also shared the 8 core motivators that get people to buy things.
1. Make Money
2. Save Money
3. Save Effort
4. Save Time
5. Improve Health
6. Impress Others
7. Increase Pleasure
8. Eliminate Pain

He said you want to work on your headline and make it as specific as possible and irresistible to potential prospects. He recommended the Copywriters Guild to get and learn copywriting in a step-by-step blueprint. I can tell you that after this weekend, copywriting and PPC is my main area I want to improve in as I heard from so many speakers how important they both were.

The next speaker I saw was Katie Freiling. She’s really awesome. Katie is the founder of the content syndication group called the Utribe, which, I am a member of so I guess I am biased when I say it is awesome. You said if you are serious about social media and Internet marketing you really want to have a blog and always give out great value. She also shared some cool stats:
- 78% of people trust their peers when making a buying decision but only trust 14% of ads
- For the first time in 23 years, Pepsi dropped their superbowl commercial to spend $20 million on social media

Katie shared a really cool resource that I did not know about and that is Google Profiles. You can setup your google profiles that could possibly be featured on search results and it is free, you can see mine at http://www.google.com/profiles/cesarin.ramirez

Katie said something I definitely agree with. She said to focus on your personal growth and the money will come. This is quite different than most as they really chase the money and hope it comes to them. She also said to get yourself into a personal success routine which is another thing I always teach. I blog, meditate and write affirmations every single day and always suggest people they create a routine for themselves. Katie says to brand yourself you have to become a giver of great value and to be consistent. She says your blog is your central hub to your branding and your marketing. Don’t just pitch your business but have people wanting to hear from you and the value you bring.

The Bad Boys – David Schwind and Jim Yaghi

OK, you have to know that these guys are totally insane but also brilliant. I had the opportunity to meet both of these guys. I spent time with David Schwind later that night with a bunch of guys at the bar. Both are absolute geniuses when it comes to driving traffic and copywriting. They started their event with Marilyn Mansons Sweet Dreams song and being escorted on stage by models. They then asked who wanted a drink of scotch and had people come up on stage and sit in chairs during their entire presentation while drinking scotch, crazy right? (I will post the video up soon.)

Their content really gave me some great ideas. Jim shared a killer strategy he uses when formulating his emails. He says before he sends out a mass email trying to sell an affiliate product he checks his gmail where he constantly receives emails from other marketers and he just does the opposite of what he sees. If all the subject lines of the emails coming from everyone else are long, he writes a short subject line and vice versa. Freaking sweet!

He shared another great tip in trying to locate people that might be interested in what you are doing. He says to google your most descriptive phrase that describes what you do or what you are trying to sell and in google click the social link toward the bottom to see what people are on social media and most associated with your business and connect with them. You also want to use the related searches button when doing your research on your niche and if you are going to do any PPC.

David made a great distinction in saying that an ad is not meant to sell but to get a click. I see a lot of ads out there trying to sell from the ad, which, makes most people not want to click them. David also said never to outsource anything you don’t know very well. I totally agree with that too as I have done this with things I did not know well and it did not work out.

My Overall Review of the No Excuses Summit

To be frank with you, I have been upset that knowing computers for over 20 years, I knew very little about setting myself up for self branding. The power of using MLSP is that it gets me not only the education but the circle of influence on the top leaders in the industry. It was awesome, as this was the very first Internet marketing conference I have ever attended. I realized how much faster I could have been generating more leads and income online if I had started attending these sort of events sooner. Here is what I got out of it:

1) Educate yourself at getting at least 50 leads a day with PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising) (Google, Facebook ,etc) More on that at MLSP.
2) Once you get great at #1 work on building awesome articles using the Copywrighter Guild
3) Think of methods of putting different things together to develop your own products to fuel upfront commisions and make it an affiliate for others to get your stuff out there

Ferny Ceballos and Me

Honestly, I appreciate Ray Higdon for taking the time to really think of me and be on his webinar and share my Craigslist Ad Power Secrets. The product will be release VERY soon. If it wasn’t for Ray, I wouldn’t have been labeled as “The Craigslist Guy” in Vegas. It allowed me to connect with leaders and speakers and their ultimate question for me was “What are you working on?” And I told them, I found a loop whole in Craigslist and i’m developing a product for it. They were loving me. I feel blessed.

I developed that name because I see a lot of people using their catchy phrases. I sum it all up to this. “Attraction Marketing Engineering” is taking bite size pieces of different elements on the web and you developing your own concepts. You will absolutely unequivocally find your niche as you stay consistent in developing your list.

Where do you start? Watch this video closely so you can see what the next steps are in your education of Web 2.0. The name of the system I put in place is called My Lead System Pro (MLSP). Why does MLSP work so well? Is it a scam? Absolutely not! It has allowed me to build my list of over 300 people in less than 4 months. I have built great relationships with people because of this system. People that are network marketers are seeking me out. Essentially you are becoming the hunted instead of the hunter. We know that 95% of the people in network marketing are failing because of:

1) Not enough people to talk to.
2) Not enough money in their pocket.

So the solution is this…

1) You will learn about why Funded Proposals are important
2) Building a Powerful List
3) Building a relationship with that list.
4) Profiting off Affiliates.

Documentation beats conversation any day. Take a look at my back office and what I have done to grow my list. If you follow my training you will absolutely duplicate what I have done. The first step is taking action and following the building process outlined in this video. Enjoy:

Someone who never gives up wanting to achieve more and never settling for less. As I write this, I’m lying in bed on a Monday morning being inspired by my good friend Ray Higdon on his post about connecting with his father after 13 years.

I am often asked why do I support and stick around the Network Marketing industry so long. It hit me this morning that I find myself being me and free to be whom I want to be to develop myself more and connect with like minded people.

I don’t know if you can relate to this but many years ago I was finding myself really disgusted with the job industry. You know, you go to school, to get a degree, to hopefully find a job that will make you a comfortable living. I found that job and it got outsourced over seas the day of my graduation.

You know it was a cycle of never ending selling myself to get another job that wasn’t a recruiting agency. I was like “man, if I have to keep going through this cycle and depending on one stream of income to take care of my family, I’m just not going to feel safe living this way.”

So I started to educate myself on businesses and what made great people like Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, etc successful. I found one similar thing in common, they all dropped out of college and they had every reason not to fail. They had a burning desire to succeed. Logically, it makes sense why I picked those three names. They are in my industry. I am a Computer Engineer by degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am a business minded person by nature because of the choices I made and circumstances that I was around. I started my first computer service company in 2006 after being let go from a corporate job because I beat my manager at a Foosball game (seriously he wasn’t happy and had it out for me to let me go).

I knew that if I would bring value to the market place, I would become successful. On the contrary, it also made one big change in my life because I was going completely against what anyone in my family was doing. I was told many times to get a corporate job to get benefits. My mentality was making more money and buying my own benefits. Creating my own circumstances instead of depending on the government, corporate, etc. A slight edge shift in thinking.

Anytime I would talk to my family about the benefits of being in business for yourself, they could not agree with me because they have not experienced anything different then a 9-5 job. So with that said relationships were gambled. Many would not support my decision and even though they knew I was in business, many would not hire me to take care of their computer tasks. They would hire someone else to do the work and honestly, I was offended. Would you not agree if you grew up with someone, looking up to them and they turn around and ignored your efforts to achieve more that they would support you? Instead they ignore you for achieving more and that creates tension and disgust.

Here’s my advice to everyone that has gone through this adversity. The best thing you can do for your life and business is to love those people that treat you and your business like that twice as much. You see, it’s your business. When you’re in business for yourself, it’s your life. The employee mindset folks don’t understand that because they punch in and punch out to go home to complete hopelessness of repeating that cycle day after day. So if you’ve ever gotten the “why do you always talk about your business life around me?” question. Simply say because people do business with people and that’s my life. People don’t do business with companies. Money comes from people and referrals come from people. That’s life.

Why Network Marketing?

I’ve been involved with Network Marketing since 1999 and have had some great success. They say anyone making over $1000 a month part-time is successful. Why do I choose to support the pyramid scheme systems (as the dream killers call it). Simply because it gives the “Average Joe” a chance at developing a business. A “system” that is already proven to work if you follow the recipe. Almost like a McDonald’s without the 1.2 Million Dollar investment.

Here in California, it costs $800+ a year just to keep your corporation going. In a Network Marketing type business, you don’t have to worry about incorporating. All of the headaches of opening up a business are taken care of for you. A S.Y.S.T.E.M. – Save YourSelf Time Energy and Money.

Networking Marketing starts with friends and family. Of course. Any business that you open up should involve the people that you love. If they get offended simply state, “look, I’m sharing this with you because if and when I’m growing my business and making some radical money at it, I want you to know I thought about you. If you found out from someone else and I didn’t share it with you, you’d be twice as offended.”

Network Marketing is not new. It started in 1890 with a company called Avon. They are still in business to this day. I support every single one of these companies and endorse them because of “what makes a leader shine.” We all “want” to win. The problem with the majority of the people out there is that we’ve been conditioned to lose.

There is a book called “The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson”. I have the audio book. It is absolutely unequivocally the most important book to read when you are first getting started in developing your life, business, health and goals. If you haven’t read it or heard the audio book, I encourage you to do so now. You can find it at Amazon or any major book store. If you’re a part of my team, I give every single one of my recruits a copy of the book or audio which ever they prefer.

If you made it this far. You’re a winner. Keep me in your prayers as I will do in mine.

All of us want the best in our life. All of us have an impossible dream that we want to make possible. The question is how do we get there? We cannot just lay down and keep on dreaming, but we have to add that sizzle that only a few give. We need to take action and get through all odds, to be where we want to be. We need to be aggressive, assertive and of course we must believe that we can make it no matter what. Affirmations daily and frequently are a great vitamin for your brain.

As for me, a better life starts with self education or what I like to call personally brain washing myself to stay positive. So we must value everything we are learning from school. It is also important that even if we’re aging, we need to keep on learning. Learning is indeed a necessity. Something we can share with others, unselfishly.

So how do we keep on learning, I may suggest that reading 15 pages of a good book a day will surely help us become well educated even if we’re not in school anymore. Additionally, 15 minutes of attentively listening to a positive audio will also be a big help for us to learn things about life and ingrain them into our subconscious.

From time to time people have wondered why reading is important. There seems to be so many other things to keep us from reading. Reading is important for a variety of reasons. We will look at some of those fundamental reasons below, but it is important to realize that struggling with vital reading skills in not a sign of low intelligence. Many highly intelligent people have struggled with reading, although when properly taught, most people can learn to read easily and quickly.

Why Is Reading Important?

1. Reading is fundamental to function in today’s society. There are many adults who cannot read well enough to understand the instructions on a medicine bottle. That is a scary thought – especially for their children. Filling out applications becomes impossible without help. Reading road or warning signs is difficult. Even following a map becomes a chore. Day-to-day activities that many people take for granted become a source of frustration, anger and fear.

2. Reading is a vital skill in finding a good job. Many well-paying jobs require reading as a part of job performance. There are reports and memos which must be read and responded to. Poor reading skills increases the amount of time it takes to absorb and react in the workplace. A person is limited in what they can accomplish without good reading and comprehension skills.

3. Reading is important because it develops the mind. The mind is a muscle. It needs exercise. Understanding the written word is one way the mind grows in its ability. Teaching young children to read helps them develop their language skills. It also helps them learn to listen. Everybody wants to talk, but few can really listen. Lack of listening skills can result in major misunderstandings which can lead to job loss, marriage breakup, and other disasters – small and great. Reading helps children [and adults] focus on what someone else is communicating.

4. Why is reading important? It is how we discover new things. Books, magazines and even the Internet are great learning tools which require the ability to read and understand what is read. A person who knows how to read can educate themselves in any area of life they are interested in. We live in an age where we overflow with information, but reading is the main way to take advantage of it.

5. Reading develops the imagination. TV and computer games have their place, but they are more like amusement. Amusement comes from two words “a” [non] and “muse” [think]. Amusement is non-thinking activities. With reading, a person can go anywhere in the world…or even out of it! They can be a king, or an adventurer, or a princess, or… The possibilities are endless. Non-readers never experience these joys to the same extent.

6. In line with the above, reading develops the creative side of people. When reading to children, stop every once in awhile and ask them what they think is going to happen next. Get them thinking about the story. When it is finished, ask if they could think of a better ending or anything that would have improved it. If they really liked the story, encourage them to illustrate it with their own drawings or to make up a different story with the same characters. Get the creative juices flowing!

7. Reading is fundamental in developing a good self image. Nonreaders or poor readers often have low opinions of themselves and their abilities. Many times they feel as if the world is against them. They feel isolated [everybody else can read - which isn't true] and behavior problems can surface. They can perform poorly in other subjects because they cannot read and understand the material and so tend to “give up.”

8. Why is reading important? Let’s keep going… Good reading skills, especially in a phonics reading program, improve spelling. As students learn to sound out letters and words, spelling comes easier. Also, reading helps to expand the vocabulary. Reading new words puts them in their mind for later use. Seeing how words are used in different contexts can give a better understanding of the word usage and definitions than the cold facts of a dictionary.

9. There is an old saying, “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Ideas written down have changed the destiny of men and nations for better or worse. The flow of ideas cannot be stopped. We need to read and research to build on the good ideas and expose the bad ideas before they bring destruction. Only by reading can we be armed in this never-ending, life-and-death struggle.

10. The fact of the power of written ideas communicated through reading is a foundational reason why some governments oppose free and honest communication. Illiterate people are easier to control and manipulate. They cannot do their own research and thinking. They must rely on what they are told and how their emotions are swayed. There is a good possibility that this is one of the main reasons phonics was removed from the schools about 100 years ago.

11. Finally, why is reading important? Reading is important because words – spoken and written – are the building blocks of life. You are, right now, the result of words that you have heard or read AND believed about yourself. What you become in the future will depend on the words you believe about yourself now. People, families, relationships, and even nations are built from words. Think about it.

Now, why did I suggest that listening to a positive audio is a good way to improve our lives and is also part of good education. I have red that listening to music can reduce chronic pain by up to 21 per cent and depression by up to 25 per cent, according to a paper in the latest UK-based Journal of Advanced Nursing. It can also make people feel more in control of their pain and less disabled by their condition.

Researchers carried out a controlled clinical trial with sixty people, dividing them into two music groups and a control group.

They found that people who listened to music for an hour every day for a week reported improved physical and psychological symptoms compared to the control group.

The participants, who had an average age of 50, were recruited from pain and chiropractic clinics in Ohio, USA. They had been suffering from a range of painful conditions, including osteoarthritis, disc problems and rheumatoid arthritis, for an average of six and a half years.

90 per cent said the pain affected more than one part of their body and 95 per cent said it was continuous. Before the music study, participants reported that their usual pain averaged just under six on a zero to ten pain scale and their worst pain exceeded nine out of ten.

“The people who took part in the music groups listened to music on a headset for an hour a day and everyone who took part, including the control group, kept a pain diary” explains nurse researcher Dr Sandra L Siedlecki from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio.

“Forty people were assigned to the two music groups and the other 20 formed the control group.

“The first group were invited to choose their own favourite music and this included everything from pop and rock to slow and melodious tunes and nature sounds traditionally used to promote sleep or relaxation.

“The second group chose from five relaxing tapes selected by us. These featured piano, jazz, orchestra, harp and synthesizer and had been used in previous pain studies by co-author Professor Marion Good from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio.”

At the end of the trial:

* The music groups reported that their pain had fallen by between 12 and 21 per cent, when measured by two different pain measurement scales. The control group reported that pain increased by between one and two per cent.
* People in the music groups reported 19 to 25 per cent less depression than the control group.
* The music groups reported feeling nine to 18 per cent less disabled than those who hadn’t listened to music and said they had between five and eight per cent more power over their pain than the control group.

“Our results show that listening to music had a statistically significant effect on the two experimental groups, reducing pain, depression and disability and increasing feelings of power” says Dr Siedlecki.

“There were some small differences between the two music groups, but they both showed consistent improvements in each category when compared to the control group.

“Non-malignant pain remains a major health problem and sufferers continue to report high levels of unrelieved pain despite using medication. So anything that can provide relief is to be welcomed.”

“Listening to music has already been shown to promote a number of positive benefits and this research adds to the growing body of evidence that it has an important role to play in modern healthcare” adds co-author Professor Marion Good.

There is no reason for us to stop learning….if we want a better life!

To your ultimate success,

Recently, my friend Charlie’s dad past away and left the family devastated. It happened so fast that Charlie called me to let me know the terrible news. His dad was only 51 years old and died of a sudden stroke. As I tried to consult and connect with Charlie on his loss, Charlie made it clear that his dad’s savings took a hit big time because of the funeral expenses. At this point, it clicked to me that his dad didn’t have life insurance. The value of life insurance is like the foundation to your house. If you don’t have it (even away from your job), what you put away in savings does not matter without this insurance.

Now a days it is so important that we understand the value of getting involved with insurance companies. It helps us meets our needs in times of emergencies, and worst sudden death. I always believe that with enough understanding about the benefits of insurance, it will keep us prepared no matter what happens.

Although the insurance industry has a formula for every life circumstance, you really need to know the amount of your annual income (before Uncle Sam takes his share) and multiplies it times the number of years left until your retirement. Meaning, the first thing to do before you choose the right type of insurance and insurance company is to know how much you can afford. So,budgeting is a must. Most American’s don’t know how to budget. I recently sat down with a great friend of mine who has been in a company called Primerica for over 11 years. He created a Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) for me and assisted me in budgeting myself. No bank has ever done that for me… No friend or family member has ever cared enough to do that for me. I’m going to guess it is because they have no clue on how to budget because this is something that wasn’t taught to them. Whether it’s a lack of education, fear of assistance, or just plain selfishness, it doesn’t really matter because those that are willing to care will always show up at the right time.

So let’s figure you earn $50,000 a year and you plan to retire in 20 years, you are looking at about $1,000,000 needed for your family should you die today. However, this figure is not a true representation of their future need if you consider that your family will also be receiving Social Security benefits, an income from your spouse if not immediately, sometime in the future, and the savings you have accrued.

Keep in mind that on your death (after the tears are dried) your beneficiary will get one lump sum to pay for death benefits and to then invest the remainder so that each year, the day-to-day expenses can be met. The key here is to “invest” as this lump sum can then earn money over time for college expenses, etc. There are a number of factors to look at while you fine tune the amount you need to leave for your dependents.

Social Security

If you have been working for over ten years, your dependents are entitled to a part of your social security payments you have made while employed. If your employment is less than ten years, there may still be something in the pot for them if you die today.

The Social Security Administration helps you figure out the amount for your dependents on their website, and you can use their calculator to figure out how much will be available to your family per month. Then multiply it by twelve to figure out a yearly disbursement. Then subtract that from your yearly salary and you have a significantly lower annual need for your family.

One caveat…if you are suspicious of Social Security’s long term ability to pay your dependents, then you may want to ignore this figure.

Extra Income

Your replacement salary can also be reduced by figuring in a spouse’s paycheck. Even if your spouse is not working now, and your children will have a few years before they can be left alone while your spouse works, there will come a time when that will be possible. Figure this into your ultimate replacement salary as well. Remember that you want to provide for what your dependents will really need. The less you pay in life insurance premiums, the more you will have to invest for th eir future, and optimistically, you will be there to enjoy it.

Savings are another source of income to factor into determining how much life insurance to purchase. Take that amount and subtract it from your final total life insurance sum.

Extra Expenses

There are other expenses your demise may engender and you don’t want to forget them as you try to assess your dependents’ future needs.

Funeral expenses

It is expensive to die. Funeral costs can average over $5,000 and if your family is lavish, over $10,000. Add this figure into your final insurance disbursement.

Mortgage

If you are concerned about losing the house, there are life insurance policies that will pay off the mortgage upon your death. However, it might make more financial sense to just include the mortgage payments in your replacement income figure as the mortgage payoff can increase life insuranc e premiums. If you choose to give your family some peace of mind when it comes to this costly bit of real estate debt, make sure you deduct that amount from your final replacement figure.

Health Insurance, etc.

Your employer may be providing health insurance for your family that may end when you do. If your family has no group insurance to tap into, the cost of health coverage may rise sharply. Be sure to include this cost in the replacement total sum.

What next?

Okay, you have that wonderful replacement figure to cover all exigencies in your family’s future, should you depart terra firma a tad early. Now what?

There are two types of life insurance: term life insurance and cash value insurance.

Term Life Insurance vs. Cash Value Insurance

Term life insurance means that you pay premiums to cover the cost of the insurance that will be disbursed upon your death. The idea is that the closer you get to retirement your coverage will diminish, as your replacement figure will lessen. Your kids are out on their own and no longer need your income to sustain them and you can more than likely drop the policy that has been renewed annually with no penalty or problem. Term life is basic and to the point. Cash value (encompassing whole, universal and variable life insurance) is not.

Cash value policies take basic term life insurance and then add a savings aspect that is tax sheltered and long term (long term meaning for your whole life!) With cash value plans, you pay for setting up a savings plan and its investment as well as the fees for your agent’s commission for doing this (not inconsiderable). To begin to make financial sense, you will need to hold onto the policy for fifteen to twenty years.

A part of your premium (comparable to the amount you would spend on term life insurance) goes to the actual life insurance. The rest of the yearly bill goes toward a cash value account and management fees. The idea was for this savings account to provide for your post retirement needs. When you die, the remainder is passed on to your beneficiaries. However, actually getting some of that money for those post retirement needs is not a slam dunk, and the amount taken out is taxed.

Your best bet is to buy the term life insurance and take what you would pay for them to invest and invest it yourself. Buying term life is a relatively simple procedure that allows you to compare apples with apples when shopping around for the best policy at the best price. Get a renewable policy and you do not have to have a physical exam each year. Get a convertible policy and you can opt for a cash value policy in the future.

Cash value policies have the advantage of being tax sheltered. There are other tax sheltered savings plans that are not as costly nor as constric ting including IRA’s, company retirement plans, etc. that enjoy lessened financial consequences if you tap into your funds for college, first-time-home down payments for example. Cash value policies proffer limited variety in the type of investment options as well. Don’t look for a shopping mall of opportunities in your plan. What cash value offers the consumer is a disciplined savings investment. But a more financially astute option would be to have an amount automatically deposited to savings or other investment accounts from your payroll check.

In closing, what I have gathered from my studies, most agents tend to sell cash value because it’s for the benefit of the agent to get more money in their pocket but less coverage for the consumer. What I recommend is to sit down with a Primerica rep and get your questions answered. They have been in the industry for over 33 years and just recently went public on April 1st, 2010 and broke away from Citi. Fortunately, I have access to the top people in the company and they have seen the ups and downs in the industry. There is no better way to get plugged in then from someone who has had success like myself with their coaching and resources. Contact me and I will get you access to that network if you are concerned about your the direction of your finances. If your mentality is, “I already have life insurance at work.” Let me ask you this, if you are no longer able to work because you are terminally ill, and you get terminated from your job, you have ZERO coverage and it’s too late for you to get life insurance. It’s better to not need it and to have then to need it and not have it.

Remember, nothing that you make and are putting away in savings make sense unless you have a Term Life insurance. Think about your love ones and the protection of your children’s future.

See you at the top,

I had a passion for running and that passion continued throughout college until the mid 2000’s. It is now 2010 and after being married for 7 plus years, it has dawn on me that I must get myself to get back into it. It’s a bit tougher now picking up some weight from marriage and life. I guess you can say, I had the mentality of working more and playing less. Trying to figure out what my true passions are in business rather then keeping the core of my foundation health strong.

Nike+ Shoe Insert

So about 2 months ago I picked up the best Nike Shoes I can find on the shelf at Footlocker. It even had some technology built into it called Nike+ which works pretty sweet.

1) First you insert this device with the Apple Logo inside the shoe.

2) Pair it up with your iPhone or iPod via the Nike+ App

3) Create an account at NikePlus.com

4) Take a jog

5) After you return, insert the iPhone or iPod into your computer and it will upload the stats to NikePlus.com automatically.

It’s actually pretty amazing technology. My only gripe is that I can only use it while jogging on the streets because using it in the gym would not be affective on an Elliptical Machine. It measures everything by the amount of steps you take and since you don’t take any steps on an elliptical, it wouldn’t work.

In closing, if you’re looking to track your activity, this may be the way to go for your jogging/running needs. If you just inside a gym and don’t get out much to run around your neighborhood, this may not be for you.

In everything we aim for in life, challenges are indeed an inevitable fact. It’s always all up to you, whether you take the challenge or move backwards, it’s definitely a character building factor.

However, in every dream, in all aspirations, you must always have plan a, b, to c. Always expect the unexpected. Based on experience, there were dreams I failed to achieve, not because I gave up, but because God (or your creator) has a better plan for me. It’s like chasing the wind…but if you do your best out of envy, not out of faith, then I’ll bet you’ll lose the battle of life.

The question is, how do we manage to keep faith despite of all the struggles we have to undergo for the sake of our dreams. I can share some ideas, and I hope it will best apply to your persona.

1) It is important to know your priorities. If not, then you can never build faith over something you are not sure of. How that is determined is up to you. The people you feel comfortable with being around taking you where you want to go.

2) Know your skills and flaws. It is necessary to know your limit, so you can make a smoother plan. “All you can do is all you can do..” — Art Williams

3) Be inspired with people who have proven their success. You’ll learn a lot from them. They will surely feed you on how to be tough in times of trial. I’ve been very successful because I made a decision to duplicate what other successful folks have done to get to where I want to be. I do not reinvent the wheel.

4) Above anything else, prayer is the key. If you do know how to ask what you really want in life specifically, then surely God (or your higher power) will guide you and will not let you fail. I realize this step could be a sensitive subject because not everyone believes in God. Whatever your belief is, realize that you must thank someone higher then you for allowing you to get where you want to be. I can honestly say there are no accidents. I believe God has taken care of me because I have had faith in him since I was very young. Our relationship is strong and I know I cannot fail with my Faith in God.

5) Believe that whether you lose or win, you will gain something good for yourself, because you did not hesitate to take the risk.

AS for me, that’s what I call faith…

Now, how does faith inside a person strengthen a family. I remember an adage, stating that: Together we stand, divided we fall. If every member of each family, will always have faith in any struggles that might come their ways, whether, financial, emotional, spiritual, or even a super typhoon, or whatever kind of catastrophe, you may think, they will never be divided in any means.

If you have faith inside you, you will never be a faultfinder, which will keep peace inside your family. You will always believe that for every mistakes there’s always room for forgiveness and improvement. If you have faith inside you, then you will always have enough patience and understanding for every situation that seems to be so complicated.

Isn’t it wonderful whenever you have faith inside you? You can feel it in your heart if you just welcome it. You can truly understand everything no matter how complicated it is. That’s what matters the most . I have heard different stories from broken families, and they all have one thing in common, they lack faith inside their hearts. A family should remain strong no matter what, and there should be no room for breaking up.

Once you decided to have a family of your own, you must also start holding on to your faith, that no matter what happens you will never let your family be divided. Keep that in mind and in your heart. Let your faith rule your family and your loved one’s. Faith includes, sacrifice most of the time, because if you are not willing to make some sacrifices for the sake of your family, then you will never understand the true meaning of FAITH. You don’t live yourself alone, you live for your family. Keep the goal kicking, let faith strengthen your family.

You were born to WIN and condition to LOSE by your surrounding circumstances. At any point in time you can change your environment, change your habits, change your thoughts to become a winner.
