AT&T vs T-Mobile speeds

So some folks are excited to hear that there will not be a merger with the giants AT&T and T-Mobile. It’s not a big deal for me because neither of them pay my bills. Actually that’s incorrect. Because of their Internet service, I’m relying on one of them to keep my Internet connection going at home. Since I make my income from Internet marketing

As some of you may or may not know, I moved the family to the mountains of Valley Center, CA for many reasons. One major reason was the fast pace of city convenience was stressing me out.

So the flip side is Internet connection has been a debating war. You see the only service I get out here is either cellular data or satellite connection. I researched prices and speed rates and Satellite’s service through Hughes Dish is $99 for the fastest speed of 2.0Mbps. I get about 5.5Mbps down and 2Mbps up using my iPhone. Naturally my skills for tech come from a passion of tinkering. Since I have, so I thought, unlimited Internet, I figured it be ok to share the Internet from my iPhone to my home devices. Come to find out from AT&T threats this is not the case. They send me text messages and snail mail to let me know it’s not ok to use the Internet outside your iPhone.

So even though I technically can use the PDANet app to hide my data usage, it’s not a full Internet service because it limits me to not using aweber. It must filter me through a proxy of some sort.

So check out my rig. I tethered my iPhone to my desktop via USB. It treats it like a modem. Then inside Windows 7 I shared that connection with the LAN adapter. The Cat5 cable from LAN goes directly into a WAN port of my Airlink Router. Now all devices in the house can be online. ! It works but for how long?

To stay in the guidelines of AT&T and T-Mobile, I understand that I have to use their hot spot device. Therefore I bought a Sierra 4G LTE hot spot unlocked off EBay so I can test both TMOBILE and AT&T. CDMA (Verizon or Sprint) doesn’t have a signal out here last time I checked.

I hope some of you mountain livers find value from this post. Going from FIOS 17Mbps to Cellular (3G) 5.5Mbps is a drastic change. I wouldn’t trade living here from where we were at though.

What an amazing 2011 year friends and family. First of all, I like to thank every single one of you for just being you and thinking about us. You’re amazing and in our hearts. We are wishing you the very best that God has to offer. Most importantly we are grateful for having you in our life.

So where do I begin? As you know I was born May 9^th, 2011 at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, CA. The first of my 2 brothers to be born at Palomar. This is also where both of my parents were born. Being in the amniotic fluid for so long, I was able to hear and study my soon to be family. I come to find out that I have the best qualities of both my brothers and I balance them out. Lets start with Cesar Antonio. He’s creative and always inventing stuff. He’s also very emotional, so be very careful of his feelings. No joke, he has a new idea every minute. Now my other brother Adam David is something else. He’s also very creative and likes to build things with Legos. He also loves to dance like nobody is watching and is a comedian. He’s more of a hands on type of guy and I see him bringing new Lego creations to my dad. He can also be in my face at times and a bit rough on me (just wait until I grow up). I have this cool jumper where I just jump away and smile at the world so they can see my chunky legs go to work.

I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with Dad most of the mornings and afternoons since he chooses to work from home. I’m not quite sure what he does on the computer, but he’s also very creative and constantly shooting videos and writing blogs. I think I heard him mention that it’s called online marketing. He chose to close down his computer service repair company after 5 years of service because of his focus to create an online business so he can spend more time with us and generate income no matter where we live. I can hear him late at night cranking on the keys and I know he’s up to something big. I love my dad and want to be just like him when I grow up. He continues to DJ as a get away for relaxation and last I heard he’s been doing it for 16 strong years. That’s probably where I get my dancing moves from. You should see him pick me up and dance, I just smile away. He tried retiring 3 times from DJing this year, but his clients tend to find him to continue. Dad is not allergic to money so he can’t refuse.

Now, my beautiful mom is amazing! She also works very hard at making sure we are all taken care of. Not only does she care for us when she gets home from her teaching job, but she also has to put up with 30 other children at school. They gave her another 10 kids to add to her already busy schedule. Dad is working on adjusting our lifestyle to accommodate mom to be home with us full-time.

Mom and Dad put on some weight from my doing . So they got on the 90 Day Body By Vi Challenge and in their 1st 30 days lost over 20lbs each. I’m so proud of them! They were completely inspired by my uncle Juan who went from 260lbs to 190lbs. A lesson to note is, if you don’t have your health in alignment, nothing else fits. Mom and Dad’s next 90 Day Challenge is to run a 5K. Make sure to cheer them on!

Finally, we are in the process of living a simpler life without the collection of extra stuff. Dad has been selling off a lot of stuff on eBay to make clearing for our new life together. He’s learning to let go of holding on to everything. I’m proud of him for this change. As I type this, we are in the process of moving to Valley Center, CA to be closer to family. The city life is too convenient for dad and mom and being out in the country will allow Dad to clear his thoughts and live in peace from the city noise. I wish I could tell you I came up with the title of that book because it sounds soooo sweet!

I’ll get to the book in a minute, let me begin from the main purpose of this posting.

So it was just the beginning of summer of 2011 and a lot of changes were happening in my life from receiving a negative letter in the mail & email from a product I was promoting and really passionate (started to market it in Q4 of 2010).  The letter was about that I can no longer market the way I have been marketing this particular product because of the nature of the product. I won’t go into the details of what exactly happen, but let’s just say when you have passion for something and a nasty letter comes in from the company because you share a true story of a testimonial and you can’t tell the truth about, you naturally make a decision to take your marketing efforts elsewhere. They wanted me to use their “replicated website.” If you have been following me for awhile, you know that replicated websites are the worse websites you can market on the internet because it doesn’t have YOU branding YOU in the front and the law of attraction doesn’t separate you from the masses. So I took my efforts elsewhere. The question was where?

After hanging out with 11 different companies and studying their business model, what made the most sense to me was asking my better half for her encouragement, prayers, and wisdom. As many of you know we just had our 3rd son, Luke, and her ultimate goal was health and nutrition. So we tried several different products at “their taste parties” and to be quite honest, most of them tasted like chalk. I needed to replace my income quick because my dreams of bringing my wife home from work so she can be with our 3 boys was quickly chattering. She also knew that I was more entrepreneur minded than I was an employee type person, so she encouraged me to get up and work at my trade.

So we landed on a concept that I knew made a ton of sense. The 2 major reasons why new people in the industry struggle in direct sales (network marketing) is #1-recruiting and #2-auto shipment.  So about 2 years ago a company by the name of Visalus Sciences restructured their whole business model to fit into the current economy’s situation calling it “The Body By Vi Challenge.” People want things easily and free. So to squash the recruiting concern, they setup a killer online and offline model that “is internet approved ” — instead of mesmerizing someone with a business opportunity, they have a 90 Day Fitness Challenge Party! So those that care to make extra income with the business can. Most importantly, those that don’t care to pay for something every month (auto shipment) can get their kit for free if you refer 3 other friends to do the challenge with you (no need to be apart of the business). If that wasn’t exciting enough, as a promoter they put you into a BMW car program by referring 12 friends to the Challenge/Business.

The business model is so simple that a 5 year old can explain it, see below:

I will not mention names but there are a few “so-called leaders” that DO NOT live by Integrity and they are just in it for the money and are considered “company hoppers”. They throw people in and leave the struggling to become dead soldiers. I am disgusted with these people and they sell the “get rich quick scheme-dream.” Avoid this pain at all costs. If you give me 50%, I’ll give you 50%. If you give me 100%, I will give you 100% until you reach your goals and start running.

Just imagine, you have lived in a certain area all your life and you just want to pack up and be anywhere your heart desires with cash flow still coming in. Very few people understand cashflow. Let me paint you a picture. Wouldn’t you like to get paid on work you did 5…10…or even 20 years ago? It’s not a pie in the sky. This is called residual income (mailbox money). That book changed my life.

The entrepreneur spirit is inside you. You just have to step back and look at your life from the age of 5 to the age of 15, what were your dreams. Dig deeper and put them down on a large poster board so you can open up that dream machine again.

Allowing yourself to put some part-time in working for yourself is a process. Go get a mirror or go to the bathroom and look at yourself. Tell yourself: I love you “your name”, and we are going to work together today on me because I know that if I work harder on me, I can influence others through my actions and words.

The beauty of working for yourself is all because you can manage your time. You are your only boss that would be your client. You set yourself clear defined financial goals of course. However, we first need to know the importance of branding ourselves online, if we do wish to have a successful online business.

First and foremost, it starts with affirmations and belief in yourself (every morning you wake up) as in the example above. If you are not willing to take the risk of taking chances, then you will have a slow growth, if any, in achieving anything at all in the entrepreneur world.

Secondly, writing an article with passion on a blog or eArticle sites. You have to write something out of your interest to attract like minded thinkers. The art of the pen is not a lost art, nor is it an esoteric preserve left only to the offbeat or intellectual. It is a vital part of living in a textual world, however much we have come to view our civilization as somehow more audio-visual than in the past. If you want to learn more about writing an article out of your own interest, start reading books, articles, news out of your own interest. Get ideas from there…then, start practicing your own ideas.

Lastly, it is indeed important to know the art of Video Marketing with your face in front as you noticed in [this example]. That website still brings me hundreds and thousands of dollars for something I did once. Viewers need to make sure that you are not a scammer/spammer. You are building that trust. Showing your face on the video and being professional wearing decent clothes and approach that would surely win customers from your list of targets.

About a year ago, my wife introduced me to a concept called Self-hypnosis. She heard about it through a gentlemen name Burt Goldman. It stemmed off from watching The Secret and then as some bold people do, decided to dig deeper. This lead into studies of Abraham Hicks which lead into the concepts of Self-Hypnosis. I’ve always thought it was a bit of strange concepts, but as I started to hear more about it through the audios that my wife had playing, I got intrigued and decided to write an article about the history of self-hypnosis. Lets talk about Hypnosis. I believe many of us is now addicted and exercising self hypnosis in their daily lives. While modern hypnosis is credited to Austrian Franz Anton Mesmer, it is actually an ancient practice. Hypnosis can be traced back as far as 3,000 years to the Evers Papyrus of Egypt. But Franz Anton Mesmer helps us to understand better modern hypnosis.

First allow me to thoroughly explain the history of hypnosis as self hypnosis is hypnosis minus another party hypnotizing you.

Franz Anton Mesmer was 32 when he received his medical qualifications. His dissertation was written on heavenly bodies on people’s health. This became the basis in which his philosophy of mesmerism would be founded on. His theory of magnetism would come from seeing a street magician use a magnet to get people to do his bidding.

Mesmer had success with patients when he used his new founded magnetism techniques. He then at the age of 43 moved to Paris. Mesmer had great fame and success until a group of people one of which was Benjamin Franklin began to investigate him. The group concluded that the people who were cured had done so with the powers of their own imagination and that their cure had nothing to do with Franz Anton Mesmer and his magnets.

It was in 1841 that Dr. James Braid would bring mesmerism back but this time be as hypnosis. Braid coined hypnosis from the Latin word Hypnos which happened to be the Greek god of sleep. Dr. Braid would go on to discover the fixed gaze technique that could cause a sleeplike state of mind. Many more people would follow suit and in the twentieth century Milton Erickson would begin to use hypnosis in his psychiatric practice. From there it was in 1958 that the American Medical Association accepted hypnosis as a medical form of treatment.

As for the history of self hypnosis there have been important connections between self hypnosis and the Jewish cabalistic mysticism made. Before it was used in western medicine, self hypnosis was used for healing and as part of human religious practices. Self hypnosis now a days is widely accepted as a scientific approach to self discovery and change.

The extent in which self hypnosis has become widespread is apparent in all those self help audio tapes that people are buying and listening to while they are in bed. This method is done in the hopes of achieving positive results while a sleep that will carry over into the waking conscience. This is a far cry from the earlier day of hypnosis and even the earlier days of self hypnosis. As history has unfolded and knowledge has taken shape, we have learned that if you have a problem or a bad habit hypnosis can be used to fix or cure your problem.

More and more people are learning more about hypnosis and bypassing a hypnotist and doing their own hypnotizing. No longer are people dependent upon a trained hypnotist for them to be able to use hypnosis to bring about positive change in their lives.

I suggest that everyone, must practice Self hypnosis each day. Simply, because life now-a-days is filled with so much stress…Keep your mind trim by giving it a chance each day to rest and properly process information. Hypnosis can also be used to accelerate healing, so any winter ailments will quickly get better and a routine of practising hypnosis can lead to a general improvement in health.

At the moment, one of the famous self hypnosis is “The Silva Method”, this is the name given to a self help program developed by José Silva, which claims to increase an individual’s IQ and sense of personal well-being by developing their higher brain functions. Proponents believe that it can improve a person’s self image, allow them to think in a clearer manner, and that it can assist people in overcoming conditions such as nicotine addiction. So, if you want your partner to get rid of smoking, then you must of-course, get so much knowledge and practice “The Silva Method of Hypnosis”.

According to notable author Arthur C. Clarke and former stage magician James Randi, the Silva method consists of the application of positive thinking, visualization meditation, and self hypnosis. Some, including Silva himself, believe that it can be used to develop paranormal abilities such as ESP, and that practicing it can allow you to tap into a higher consciousness.

The Silva Method is one of a number of therapeutic techniques sometimes grouped under the name Human Potential Movement.

Silva began developing the method; formerly known as Silva Mind Control, in the 1940s before launching it commercially in the 1960s.

It developed out of Silva’s belief that the thoughts and actions of 90% of the world’s population were governed by the left hemisphere of their brain; limiting them using only logical, intellectual, objective means of problem resolution. Silva believed that by training people to think with both the right brain hemisphere as well as their left they could access information stored at a subconscious level. According to Skeptical author Robert Carroll, the Silva method appears to be based on the work of Roger Wolcott Sperry, but with Silva’s own twists in it that is claimed to make it an inaccurate model.

I woke up today a bit teed off in the industry. I know I may get some rants on this subject but I just want to tell you my experience from a user/producer. I have had success in the industry of Network Marketing and my niche is online marketing. Now there are a lot of systems out there that you can sign up for and they’ll teach you a lot of nuggets, the problem is that they are overloaded with (technical term: CRAP). Not all of it is crap, but it’s just information overload. I’m sorry if you don’t agree. The problem is that you will end up confusing the SH*T out of your team if you don’t have something that is a copy and paste system. I pretty much sum it up in this video below on my thoughts and what I believe works and will continue to work.

Sure you can learn Pay-Per-Click, Social Media, Organic Article Writing, or Classified marketing (my personal favorite), but until you realize that ALL you need is to squeeze information out of someone. They connect to “you” through video. If you are not comfortable in front of video, then learn how to be ok with it. Just be you. I have tested this concept with 5 different MLM companies and 4 direct sale companies and it just simply works.

Items needed:

1) Squeeze page (your video of you telling the prospect who the heck you are looking for to be on your team with a lead capture list builder (example here).
2) Forward that opt-in prospect to either your replicated website to view a few videos of your opportunity. Or squeeze some more information like address and phone number to deliver your product samples with a simple video of your presentation (no longer than 40minutes) of your opportunity video (no other links should be surrounded). – (see 2nd page example here)
3) some simple ad creations with some hyperlinks to your squeeze page
4) save those simple ads in a text file
5) copy and paste ad information to different websites (I love Craigslist)
