Mindvalley – Quantum Jumping – featuring Burt Goldman

So this past weekend, I had the pleasure of being introduced to a live seminar by my beautiful wife Xochitl. The seminar was put on by Mindvalley – http://www.mindvalley.com/about/. Mindvalley is a company that was developed for the person seeking more out of life through enlightenment. For those that don’t understand enlightenment, the best way I can describe it is reaching your higher self so that you can connect to your utmost potential in life.

I have been blessed enough to have married an awesome woman who sees more to life than being stagnant. We forward that belief to our 3 boys and apply a sense of reaching for the stars with little to no limitations. Conventional thinking in our school system teaches us linear (1 track) thinking. As does our jobs with our paychecks (1 track stream of income). Therefore, if there is an infinite amount of possibilities through other systems of learning, you literally have no limitations.

I have been to many seminars. A lot of coaching in the sales and marketing industry as well as personal development. I will have to say that Mindvalley is up at the top of the charts for their forward thinking. I was given some tools that I have never even thought about to utilize my brain to another potential. MP3 or CDs for Audio Books?

So it’s been my experience that I can take a few hours to import MP3s into iTunes. The CDDB (CD Database) doesn’t always recognize CDs that aren’t trademarked or registered. Therefore, I have to enter it by hand and it can be tiresome. Here’s my point, even though you enter them in, sometimes it’s hard to tell if you’re on the right audio track because the title may be too long, it may just get shuffled, etc. I’m sure there is an easier way, but just owning the CD and using it when you need to focus on that author and lesson of the day is enough. The CD is enough to get you focused on that lesson. Did you know it takes 17 times to listen to an audio book before you can absorb it correctly?


The whole key to reversing the process of disappointment in your life is to keep working on yourself. Jeffery Combs, my coach allowed me to release a lot of the baggage I took from childhood and let go. I had an open mind to invest in myself. Unfortunately, a lot of folks I know aren’t open to change. The sad reality is that their ego doesn’t reflect their bank account. They’re one paycheck away from being broke. They have no control of their lifestyle and that is disappointing to say the least.

You’ll never go back to the old ways. Once you know what’s possible. You won’t be able to contain yourself of the rich information that will assist you in changing your lifestyle, your friendships, your bank account. It’s not a matter of if, but when.

A Road Less Traveled…

You can’t go back, you can’t go right, you can’t go left….Only forward. Continue through the fire, the broken road, but in the end, it’s soooo worth it. You will find paradise. Some call it stupidity to do what I did. I call it adventure. Welcome to my world.

In eastern Australia, whale watching occurs in many spots along the Pacific coast. From headlands, whales may often be seen making their migration south. At times, whales even make it into Sydney Harbour.

New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife took an active role in 2010 during the peak southern whale watching season between May and November with the launch of its whale watching site.

In Panama, the Pearl Islands archipelago receive an estimated 300 humpbacks whale from late June to late November. These had become now the main attraction for whale watching san diego. In the Gulf of Chiriqui, the World Heritage Site of Coiba Island National Park and the islands near the town of Boca Chica are offering opportunities for boat rentals for people to appreciate the area, visit newport beach boat rental. Isla Iguana near Pedasi is now a popular destination for whale watchers. Several foundations train local community members to perform as guide and captains for whale watching tours.

In Ecuador, from June to September, there are many sites from which large groups of humpback whales can be seen, including Isla de la Plata (AKA Little Galapagos) and Salinas, at the tip of the Santa Elena Peninsula.

The Truth About Citrix’s GoToMeeting

I have had the pleasure of being in the industry of technology since my mom gave birth to a 10lbs 300baud modem (ME) in 1977. :).

Out of all the business networking tools I have used out there for online conferencing, Citrix’s GoToMeeting has got to be the smoothest online system I have seen out there with features that make sense to a viewer and a host.

Pros: These features include, hiding and un-hiding participants online. Asking pre-qualifying questions to participants of the meeting before logging in. Audio streaming of meeting over VoiceOverIP or dial-in number for land line. Hand being raised to ask a question during a session. Very low latency on screen-casting.

Cons: Now, this is the only thing I have not found online or on Citrix GoToMeeting’s website. If I want to pass a predefined field variable through a link. In this case, let’s say the field form to login into the meeting is asking the viewer "Who invited you to this webinar?" I would like to be able to include in the special link ?WhoInvited=Cesar%20Ramirez when the link is submitted via email, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social micro blog sites. That way, this would auto populate that field when the viewer sees the pre-login webinar form page.

If you know of a method to overcome this, please let me know. I’ve dealt more with PHP coding than ASP(X) so I may be off here. Because the web page is not written in PHP, I’m sure there is a method around that considering the code variable for that field is already determined.
