Frank Sinatra – Cycles

(J. Caldwell)
[Recorded July 24, 1968, New York]

So I’m down and so I’m out
But so are many others
So I feel like tryin’ to hide
My head ‘neath these covers
Life is like the seasons
After winter comes the spring
So I’ll keep this smile awhile
And see what tomorrow brings

I’ve been told and I believe
That life is meant for livin’
And even when my chips are low
There’s still some left for givin’
I’ve been many places
Maybe not as far as you
So I think I’ll stay awhile
And see if some dreams come true

There isn’t much that I have learned
Through all my foolish years
Except that life keeps runnin’ in cycles
First there’s laughter, then those tears

But I’ll keep my head up high
Although I’m kinda tired
My gal just up and left last week
Friday I got fired
You know it’s almost funny
But things can’t get worse than now
So I’ll keep on tryin’ to sing
But please, just don’t ask me how

To Jailbreak Your iPhone or Not.

There are mix reviews on hi slut review. One of if not the main reason I jailbroke my iPhone is that I didn’t feel I should pay another mobile internet fee ($60+) to use my laptop. It’s like owning 2 cars. One has great gas mileage but you are force to drive the gas hogger when you take a long road trip. You deserve options.

Rubbish.

I don’t do heavy downloading via tethering and you shouldn’t either. Anything over 5GBs in a month will throw a red flag to your provider. Just doing some moderate checking of email, blogging, and surfing the web should be fine.

Second, I love my iPhone. I believe it deserves a sexy look and it does. I hated the first version I owned because I had a terrible experience with the speaker going out on me in the 1st day of use. But the 3GS is awesome and has a much faster response rate because of the processor.

Third and probably most important. You have an endless amount of 3rd party applications that allow you to do some stuff not available through the Apple store. As an example, I have an application called “iBlacklist” which allows me to block certain phone numbers or blocked numbers from calling me. There are emulators to play your favorite Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Gameboy and GB Advanced, etc.. games on your iPhone. If that’s not enough, you can treat your iPhone like a Wifi Router and allow it to serve a few laptops in your house. And finally, my most absolute favorite application is qTweeter which allows me to send a quick blog to Facebook and Twitter from any application I’m in just by sliding my finger down from the top to the bottom.

I will eventually add a favorite list of apps that I love on here. As you can see, I’m very passionate about 3rd party applications because it allows the end user to experiment with new possibilities. It also allows the app developer to get their name out there in recognition for these amazing applications.
