Link Building: Does It Still Matter?

backlinks

People say link building is already obsolete or irrelevant. That was after Google, through Matt Cutts, said that search engines would no longer mostly rely on them for rankings. But many SEO (search engine optimization) experts still believe that backlinks are important.

How so?

Links Should Be Backed by Quality Content

First, what Google frowns upon is over optimization brought about by the excessive use and heavy reliance to backlinks in order to promote a site. Cutts calls link building as “sweat plus creativity.” Thus, it is not entirely disallowed. It simply means that the value of a site should not only be dependent on strategically-placed links. Its contents should also matter, and it should be of value to its audience. Quality, creativity, and substance should go with it.

Remember that at the end of the day, you are not merely blogging or making a website just to rank in Google, Yahoo!, or Bing. Instead, you are doing it to eventually please your audience, and ultimately convince them to buy or avail any product or service that you are promoting in your site or blog. User experience must come above all else in order to ensure your survival in the e-commerce business or other ventures online.

It Leads to More Information Plus Legitimate Products and Services

Second, if you are already on your way finding a Burlington SEO company, remember that links are important in terms of providing your reader more information about a certain subject. It offers audiences a reference should they wish to get more data about something they are reading. For short, it promotes a harmonious flow of information from one site to another that will surely benefit the reader.

Alternatively, it is a way to lead customers to products or services related to the content they are checking out to allow them to get directly to its legitimate seller. With the presence of scams and copycats online, good links filter them out. It bridges audiences from a high-quality  site to a reliable product or service that they want to try out. By the way when your pets need food or resources, its is best to order online through my pet needs that.

Links Distinguish Good Sites From Bad Ones

Third, backlinks serve as a shout-out to the source of information you have in your site. It helps quality and reliable sites to be known to audiences and aids them in establishing a good reputation online. In a way, this still allows improved user experience to your visitors.

Link Building Will Always Be Important

Links remain as the backbone of a good content. What Google discouraged is people spamming them just to gain undue advantage in search engines or to deceive customers. Sure these black hat tactics do work for a while, but Google will penalize you for it once they find out. And it usually doesn’t take them long to flag down sites that do employ such tactics.

Lastly, people can only be tricked once. When they realize that your site offers misleading or bad user experience, they will no longer return to it. Worse, they will share it to others who will later avoid your site. In the long run, these will damage your online reputation dearly.

Therefore, it should be reminded that backlinks should only be used in an appropriate manner. Most importantly, they should lead your audiences to sites or products and services that will really produce a nice experience.

Effective Social Media Marketing Tips that are Often Overlooked

social media marketing

Almost all people all people know what is being talked about when they hear the term social media. Most of them will associate it with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. But what is social media marketing or SMM all about? How do you optimize its advantages?

Social media marketing goes way beyond simply posting comments or copy-pasting information about a product or service. While the goal of this is to gain more exposure through social networks, there are still a lot of things that have to be considered. Just like in physical business, comparing types of signs is a norm.

Check out these fundamental but often overlooked things when it comes to marketing through social media:

Choose the Right Platform

There are a lot of social media platforms sprouting everywhere. But the no-brainer sites for reaching out to a wide audience remain to be the forerunners like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Aside from having a broad reach, these come with advertising tools specially-designed for promoting a customer’s products and services.

There are instances also that some locally-known networking sites could come in handy. That is if your product or service is only focused on attracting the people that belong in that certain place. However, the safe bets for attracting customers remain the mentioned top social networking sites.

Combine SMM with Content Marketing Program

Examples of content marketing programs are blogs and the ever-popular YouTube. The combination of these and SMM will not only offer more exposure to a product or service, it will also increase the chances of your potential customers of buying what you are offering, especially when the presentation of the information related to what you are selling is attractive to them.

Connect with Other Users

One way to maximize the advantages brought about by social media marketing is by taking an effort to connect to your potential customers or just about everyone in your friends or followers list. Answer questions or concerns centered into your product or service. React also to what others are posting in order to establish a relationship with your potential customers that stretches a little more than the standard buyer-seller connection. Let them feel that you care about them and you are interested with what they are talking about.

Encourage Others to Share Information About Your Business

Encouraging other people to share your posts is not just about telling or asking them to do it. By taking the initiative to follow them back or share their posts too, most of them will respond by doing the same. Thus, the saying, “Do unto others what you want others to do unto you,” applies here.

Observe Proper Netiquette

Don’t be arrogant, avoid offensive posts, and don’t spam. These just among the many don’ts  in the world of social media marketing. However, despite the simplicity of these rules, people still tend to forget and break them. Keep in mind that your conduct is a reflection of your business, so always be mindful of your actions and apply extra patience in dealing with people even the unruly ones.

Maintain Quality

Whatever it is you are advertising, make sure its quality is always at par with the expectations that have resulted from your promises to your target market. While it is always very tempting to apply terms that seem too good to be true, customers who will test or eventually buy your goods or services will inevitably find out what it is lacking or its flaws.

You don’t have to highlight the flaws of what you are promoting. Instead, just keep the tone of your marketing near realistic levels. Don’t get the people’s hopes up far higher than what you can offer.

Stress in business

Stress in Business

Today’s post is about awol academy reviews. I think we all have experienced a bit of stress in business because it’s not normal for someone to produce on their clock. Whether you’re building a network marketing company, an online ecommerce business or you’re an inventor, you may experience stress when you face a challenge.

That challenge can be different for everyone. It can be either a financial challenge, customer challenge, time challenge, or a routine challenge. These are just some examples. I hope that today’s tips will help you over come some of these challenges.

My advice for ANY stress in business, is to STOP what you’re doing and go do something that is a hobby of yours. Let that hobby be the area you like to go to when you are facing stress in your business. For example, this is a hobby I had no idea would be a fun project…

October 2014 was a challenging time for one of my businesses. I was facing a lot of challenges in my business with some of the members involved. I knew that I had to step back and rethink my process. At the same time my oldest son ‘Little Cesar’ was turning 10 and I wanted to do something special for him. I asked him, what would you like for your birthday son… he replied, “I would like for you and me to work on an Arcade together”.

Mind you I got out of games and arcades when he was born because of my time limitations and focus on making money to provide for the family, even though I still used the sun bets mobile app sometimes and play games as LoL in the computer with services as ELO BOOSTING to advance faster and not to waste too much time on it. Interesting enough, it was a blessing in disguise. They say listen to your children because they sometimes know best. So being the open minded person that I am, I became a fanatic for salvaging and rebuilding old arcade machines as a “stress reliever” if you will.

Here’s some projects I’ve completed on my instagram page: https://instagram.com/explore/tags/mcarcades/  feel free to follow me here: https://instagram.com/cesar8ramirez/ mancavearcades #mcarcades to follow…

Follow your passions and the stress will leave ya.

Well it turns out that someone saw my YouTube video on what I did for my son and asked me to build one for him. He offered me $2000 and I said….hmmm this hobby just turned into a blessing :-). The rest is history as one would say.

Listen to your passions my friends. If something inside is calling you for a greater good, listen to that voice. I believe anything that involves working with your hands is a great method of releasing stress. If you can turn that hobby into a money making activity, well that’s a double wammy!

I’ve now sold about 5 arcades and you can see some of my happy customers that have enjoyed the fruits of my labor.

If time is an issue for you. I have always promoted to find ways to stop trading your time for dollars. I’m telling you right now it’ll save you a grand headache to find that system online to provide for your family. Risk takers will always reap the rewards.

I encourage you to communicate with me if you’re stuck. Glad to always provide a method for you to move forward. I have a servant leader attitude my friend. If you’re not making an additional $500+ a month right now in your online business, let’s chat.

Your friend in business,

Cesar Ramirez

P.S. Doing a private Q&A webinar for my ebay (elite drop shippers team) tomorrow, but perhaps Thursday night we can mastermind to help you get unstuck.

Why eCommerce Works in This Changing World

ecommerce

Everybody will agree that electronic commerce or eCommerce is a mainstream way of doing business. All major organizations have their own websites and engage in online sales of products and services. Even small and medium-sized businesses have learned to tap the virtually-limitless potential of the Internet to reach their intended markets.

eCommerce is basically about the sale of goods and services, and transfer of funds, through an electronic network such as the Internet. While earlier versions of eCommerce existed years earlier, the 1990s is considered to be the period when online trading flourished due to consumers having more access to the Internet. It was also during this era that online retail giants Amazon and eBay started operations. A small trivia: Amazon is said to have started in a garage selling books.

eCommerce Equals Accessibility

Some people prefer online shopping for a variety of reasons, foremost of which is accessibility. Retailers’ websites are available 24/7 (24 hours a day seven days a week) and may be accessed at any hour of the day. Most are user-friendly, a feature that developed from past experiences by businesses with complicated and tedious site designs.

Perhaps a significant component of accessibility is its international reach where people from different parts of the globe gain unlimited access to the virtual stores. The full strength of 24/7 operations of online stores comes to fore from its ability to service customers from various time zones unlike some grocery stores in Calabasas.

A natural consequence of the global reach of eCommerce is the virtual elimination of cross-country business barriers and their attendant bureaucracies in international trading.

Friendly Web Designs

Web designers for online sellers implement standard features in their designs to make websites more accessible to consumers. The attention given to accessibility is well-grounded because millions of visually-impaired individuals use the Internet too. Sellers whose websites are easy to navigate will garner a bigger customer base. Towards this end, a well-designed website usually contains a content link at the very top of the page, audio options and absence of time limits within which to complete specific actions.

Of course, there are always apparent downsides to everything, including eCommerce. The primary complaint against online shopping is inability of the purchaser to personally examine the product before buying it. Buyers are therefore forced to rely on product descriptions and warranties by the sellers. For the impatient shoppers, the unavoidable delays from purchase to shipment and eventual receipt of the product is another negative point of eCommerce.

Maximizing the Benefits

People who have products to sell and want to sell them online have to take into account these pros and cons of eCommerce. Successful leveraging of products and services necessitates knowledge of different aspects of eCommerce in order to maximize their advantages and minimize the disadvantages. If you believe that you can get the best out of your products and services through an online store, then you should start right away.

Are all these efforts and expenses associated with http://thetrailerboy.com/utility-trailers/ worth your money and time? Definitely yes. There are numerous reasons to make eCommerce a financially-viable platform to invest in.

Practical Ways to Attract Customers to your eCommerce Business

You have set up your very own online store selling products that you personally handpicked and perceived as having the most potential to appeal to shoppers. Creating an eCommerce business is, however, only the start. Your primary purpose is to generate sales by bringing customers into your store to view the products and ultimately make a purchase. The task is not as daunting as it may sound if you understand these essential facts about eCommerce.

Personal Interest. Putting up an eCommerce business entails a lot of hard work and preparation. A vital element of success in business is personal interest from the owner on the nature of the business. If you love cooking, selling ingredients and kitchen utensils will suit you, even kitchen extensions london would be great. This requirement also applies to eCommerce.

Pricing. Know the best prices for your products. Pricing an item too low hurts your Return on Investment or ROI. A price tag that is too steep will keep away bargain hunters and the average buyers.

Shipping Costs. Customers want to buy items online, but they do not want to pay for shipping charges. You can become more competitive by offering free shipping, but shouldering the shipping cost will reduce your profit margin. Find ways instead to incorporate shipping cost to product prices then offer free shipment. Your products will look more appealing to customers.

Foreign Products. You have more chances to sell your products if they are not locally available. Local stores are your competitions even if you are an online retailer. Look for and trade in merchandise that are not yet widely distributed by physical stores.

Suppliers. If you do not produce your own products, finding the right manufacturer is crucial in the success of your eCommerce business. The suppliers must not only be offering reasonable prices that give you wide margins for profit from resale but must be reliable in observing delivery schedule too.

Analyzing Amazon. A good way to jumpstart your business is by emulating today’s successful eCommerce businesses. Learn from one testimonial and you have a guaranteed formula for success. Just what did Amazon do that made it the online retail giant that it is today?

Product Variety. Amazon sells practically everything that consumers would need. You name it and Amazon has it. Other online sellers offer the same product range but Amazon presents more than mere merchandise variety, and that is customization.

Personalized Approach. Amazon does not only sell its products to visitors; it personalized the way it offers the items for sale. Its homepage shows its featured products as well as special offers and promos. Previous visitors will also receive relevant recommendations for other products of interest. The result: you get the feeling that you are a special customer and not just one of its thousands of visitors.

Technical Efficiency. The sheer technical innovation and massive technology employed by Amazon easily dwarf the eCommerce processes used by normal online retailers. Of course, Amazon has the technical know-how and financial capacity to do this. Its eCommerce architecture is patented down to the smallest details. While you may not be able to employ all these expensive technologies on your sites, you can adopt at least the principles behind the infrastructure.
